The Skinny: This is the brand new DVD that was released just a week ago  starring Ayami Sawada. The title is (N)ude – don’t ask for an explanation about the peculiar format of the title as I haven’t got one. What I do know is that this is a terrific DVD. This is another video that was shot at home meaning in Japan; no doubt the impact of the tsunami is being felt all across the spectrum of the Japanese economy. But what they didn’t spend on airfares and overseas hotels, seemingly went right into the video in the form of new music, dynamic editing and pacing, and a fearless director, Minami Haou, who trots out a whole series of new innovations for a gravure DVD and yet still deliver the goods in a lively and energetic style.

But it all starts with a model who can attract you, stimulate you, and have you eager to watch her as she struts her stuff. Sawada has been around for just a few years but she has only a small portfolio of releases. This is just her 5th DVD with her first one (Nu Image) being released in late February, 2009. Despite her lack of exposure, I still think she’s just a great model.

Rio Natsume – My Girl 2 (May 20th, 2011)

The Skinny: She’s been at it since the summer of 2003. ‘She’ would be Rio Natsume, and ‘it’ would be working as a gravure model/idol. This is her latest or maybe even her last DVD and the title is My Girl Vol. 2. It isn’t a long video clocking in at 68 minutes including the montage, six main chapters, and the bonus chapter, which is behind-the-scenes and here is called the ‘special movie’.

After the effective montage, the first visuals we get are of ornate fence which is opened and leads to fancy door. Behind the door is Rio Natsume in an apron and not much else. Is this a house of pleasure, or just a home? We don’t know, but with Rio’s bust struggling to stay inside the apron, it doesn’t really matter.

The Skinny: Finally – another Asana Mamoru DVD. Her most recent one before this one came out last summer in August 2010. You can read that review here. It was a long wait. This time we find the sweet, sexy, stacked Asana in Thailand, and guess what? She’s working as a waitress – at least for the first scene.

The DVD opens with Asana walking towards us on the street with her head down.

Kyoko Fujimi – Fujikyon Chan (April 24th, 2011)

The Skinny: Busty Kyoko Fujimi hits the beach on Bali.  By now, you all should recognize Dreamland Beach at a glance. With Kyoko perched on the sands, we can expect some tremors. Wait, let me change ‘tremors’ to something else – you may expect some major jiggles. Much better.

Under the blue skies, alongside the gentle tidal waves, and on a sandy beach that remarkably lacks pebbles – we are treated to the sight of Kyoko Fujimi in a bright yellow bikini. What she does in this setting is about average for the genre. Some slight jogging is followed by Kyoko building a mound in the sand, which as you know, will then be crushed under the weight of her heavy boobs. Hannah Montana croons A Little Bit of Heart (Hey sugar, hey sugar, hey) on the audio track. The music doesn’t really fit the visuals , but it works as you will tap your feet while listening.

How about a summarized review in a nutshell? Mai Nishida shows up in Thailand on a working gravure holiday. After seeing so many of these videos taking place in Bali, this is a nice change.

As always, Mai conveys a certain innocence in her face. Her youthful countenance seems to be in direct contrast with her womanly figure. But hey, I’m not complaining and I’m sure you aren’t either.

Ai Shinozaki – Junjo Kalen (April 27th, 2011)

The Skinny: This is the second of the Ai Shinozaki double release on the E-Net label. The first one, Junai Ijoh was reviewed here. Right from the jump I can state that this one, Junjo Kalen, while having some of the same problems that I discussed in the first review, is still an infinitely better DVD.

The montage is followed by a scene on Bali’s Dreamland Beach. Ai greets us wearing a top and jeans over her bikini. We greet her by spritzing water from a hose onto her chest. She’s not thrilled about it. In fact we are called baka or idiot – twice.

In the second part of this chapter, Ai will tug the tee-shirt up over her bottom, and tug it down off her shoulders. Time for some glamor posing which in this case means cleavage time as she is lying on her stomach facing us.

Mikie Hara – Shiawase no Shirushi (April 20, 2011)

The Skinny: Back for her 16th appearance on my pages is the gorgeous Mikie Hara. This is her new DVD from I-One entitled Shiawase no Shirushi; Looks like this one was shot in Okinawa. Of course this is confirmed in the credits and when Mikie tells us that this is the case in the signed tee-shirt segment which follows after the closing credits.

A standard montage running 2:30 begins the DVD. Mikie shows us that she’s pretty active in the montage, and the first chapter echoes that thought. There she is in a faux-snakeskin bikini on a beach. When we get in closer, we can see that it isn’t snakeskin at all – it is a stars and flowers pattern. Fooled me. But what’s not fooling around is that Mikie is indeed gorgeous. Especially when she’s crawling around on beach.
