Note from JMM: I wrote this review sometime in the latter part of 2003.  Basically the text is unchanged except that the references to other videos that would be reviewed in the same issue have been deleted. We were in magazine format back then. All of the photo captions were written by Al-The-Editor with his inimitable British sense of style and humor.

Our next Classic DVD  comes to us from Japan, and we have one of our favorite Japanese Idols for your pleasure. Harumi Nemoto appears here in lots of scenes on the beach, or in the ocean or the pool. Yes, repeat after me : we love Busty Babes on the Beach.

I ordered the DVD featuring the spectacular Harumi Nemoto, as well as the other two featuring the Japanese models, from an online vendor. Got the e-mail Thursday night in New York that the items had been shipped from Japan on Friday. And they arrived on Monday. What more could you ask — an express mail service that worked. Thank you to the postal gods in two countries. I-One Productions in Japan has entitled this one Oasis, and while I can’t quite figure what the connection is about the title, it really doesn’t matter.

From any angle, Harumi is spectacular. Pity they couldn't find a bikini that fit her a bit better, especially now that measurements in the region of 40½-23½-34½ are becoming more or less a Japanese standard....

Harumi is also blessed with classically beautiful features. Just because a girl has big tits, it doesn't automatically follow that she has to have a face like a bag of chisels

Harumi is tall and sexy, and beguiling, and exotic, and funny, and very busty. From scenes shot on a sun drenched Saipan beach, to underwater shots in the hotel pool, this is a stunning woman.

Ah, at last, an almost well-fitting bikini bra! But that spotted one looks as though it might fit my Auntie Mildred. There, mercifully, the resemblance ends

There’s an interview interspersed throughout the video, I would have loved it if there had been sub-titles so we could know what Harumi was telling us in her native Japanese language, as she looked so animated and happy.

There's something vaguely exciting in watching a pretty girl doing ordinary everyday things, like riding a bike while busting out of a bikini

The Russians have recently installed a production line turning out an endless supply of nubile, long-legged teenage tennis players. In Japan, they do things differently. Harumi is living proof that the Japanese are fully geared up for production of drop-dead gorgeous lovelies with huge tits. Where's it all going to end?

We’ll see a long sequence of Harumi on a bike, a moody sequence as she wanders through some WWII site, and some very sensual shots throughout. If there was one complaint, it was that the camera had too much movement. I wanted a few shots to have been held steady for a few seconds longer than they were. But that’s just a minor complaint.

Harumi is one of the most in-demand models working in Japan today. There’s no reason to wonder why. She’s the epitome of feeling glorious. Four point five out of five. By the way, this DVD is coded for All Regions.

The Skinny: Another installment of our Classic Reviews. I’ve saved a number of the older reviews of the major stars, and are happy to share them with you. The review text is unchanged (except for some minor updates made for continuity) and for the most part, the images are the originals with the unique captions by Al-The-Editor. Here and there are some new captures straight from the booklet and or the DVD. The review from 2003 follows right below.

Another girl on the A-List of Japanese Big Bust Super Models is Harumi Nemoto. This Region 2 DVD from Kadokawa Video and Happinet Pictures (the distributor) is called Shocking Mermaid and you guessed it — Harumi is the star.

After a very brief opening which I’ve yet to understand (more on this later as it is reprised further on) we meet Harumi in a white knit bikini with multi-colored stripes (described and pictured just for you fashionistas), on a brilliantly white sand beach, romping in the clearest ocean water you can imagine, and beneath the bluest sky ever.

Then, almost as if by magic, without missing a beat to the bouncy music, her bikini becomes white with red and yellow flowers, and these few pieces of material accent her deep, deep cleavage marvelously. This sequence alone justifies the cost of the video.

Here’s the crew in action. Life is hell, out there on a hot beach,the sun blazing down, toting that huge camcorder…

This video was shot on the island of Saipan and isn’t it a grand island for photographing busty Japanese models!

Fashion note: Harumi’s stripy bikini is in a clingy, knitted material and features a delicious little triangle of daylight between the thighs….

On the other hand, the job probably has its compensations

And here’s the view the other camera sees. The clearest ocean, the bluest skies, the polarising filter does its stuff….

Then there are the huge tits squeezed into the knitted bikini — or as much of them as will fit in there….

A quick re-spray and Harumi is wearing flowers instead of stripes

There are beach scenes and shower scenes, and even a scene in bed where we go literally under the sheets for a peek.

First it’s stripes, then it’s flowers. Seamless quick-change on the beach….

Harumi is fully dressed and out on the town for the evening or in a brief bathing suit taking the sun, or making the sunset seem even more beautiful than we thought possible…,

… and anytime we see her, there no doubt that homage is being paid to her sensationally voluptuous body. Below is the shower scene referenced earlier in the review.

They go for a few creative scenes as well. In the second scene, we follow Harumi into the bathroom. She’s wearing a scanty top and very tight shorts. The camera goes right around her as she stands before a filled sink. The camera actually goes right into the sink and looks up at Harumi as she gathers the water in her cupped hands to wash her face.

Things get a bit weird after that, like these shots from the bathroom sink but it’s all good clean fun

It doesn’t quite work, but every so often the camera comes out of the water for a shot of her breasts bulging as she leans forward.

Don’t try this at home unless you put the camera in a waterproof bag. And even with the camera in a waterproof bag, you should still think twice….

We chase Harumi through the streets but her tits stay safely inside her top

Then there’s a nighttime club scene when paparazzi (us — or at least our perspective) chase Harumi for photos. I think this was a scene designed to have the fully clothed Harumi run so that her huge bust would wobble around in her low-cut top. Don’t even think I’m complaining. Just telling you what’s on view.  And, there’s that bottom again….

The strange scene is reprised at the end when Harumi enters a room wearing a tight nurses’ outfit. I’ll show you the outfit but I can’t even begin to guess at what they were going for with this footage.

Some strange stuff takes place, like that nurse’s uniform scene. But then, some people like nurses’ uniforms….

And so, as the sun sinks slowly in the West

What you should do is go for this video. You’ve seen Ms Nemoto on our pages before, and the word is she’s getting more and more opportunities to appear before the cameras, and her costumes are getting briefer and briefer. Stayed tuned. But wait, there’s more — the DVD comes with a 16-page full color picture book. Oh yes, the rating is four point five. The shower scene cleavage and the beach scene cleavage (what a pair!) elevate this video to the sublime.

Yoko Matsugane – Dulcet (June 25th, 2002)

The Skinny: We are happy to re-publish the review of Yoko Matsugane’s first solo gravure idol DVD called Dulcet. The fact that this DVD was produced in the spring of 2002, and that Yoko is still, seven years later, a major star in the gravure world is a real indicator of how successful her career has been. Please note the the above cover image is from the VHS not the DVD. And please pardon the somewhat slightly grainy look to the images.  The tools I had back then were rather rudimentary. The review, originally published in 2003 follows.

Our last video this month concludes our tour of luscious, gorgeous, and busty Japanese models. We’ve saved the biggest breasts, and the newest and most popular model for last.

If you thought Anna Ohura was big, think again. Yoko Matsugane surpasses Anna for size, shapeliness, and overall beauty. This girl is just sensational.

Now, concluding a month of purity, Japanese-style, here’s challengerYoko doing her best to make you think impure thoughts.You probably will…

On the other hand, there’s no sex or nudity in this video. But Yoko does not miss a single opportunity to bend over so her huge breasts fill the screen. You’ll want to dive right into her cleavage, and you simply will not tire of seeing it over and over. Mark my words, this babe will be soon doing a show-all video. She’s that damn hot looking. Producers will be waving lots of Japanese yen or American dollars at her to pose naked. [New Edit:I was wrong about that, wasn't I?]

Mind you, 92-56-85 is ‘only’ 36-22-33½, evenly distributed across 5′ 4″. While numbers matter — and these seem more plausible than some we’ve heard — proportions matter more.Yoko looks to be well capable of straining any American D-Cup bra.

Once again we are at a resort on the island of Saipan. This island seems to have lots of blue sky, and sun, nearly perfect weather. Just what you’d want and hope for while spending a few days in a tropical paradise while shooting videos of a huge busted girl who is more than willing to share her charms.

Here’s another of those right-up-close shots beloved of Japanese directors. We remind you that perspective is affected by viewing distance.So to avoid distortion you need to view these close shots from three inches away from the screen. You okay in there? Now treat yourself to an impure thought…

For your next impure thought, you will need to imagine yourself tripping into the foaming brine and plucking up a moist maiden in your strong arms…Just remember that more working hours are lost each year through lower back pain than any other reason.

The video is called Dulcet, and was produced by the Vega Factory. Let’s see, what do we get in this 40-minute video? Lots of breast flesh on display, but sorry, no nipples. Yoko will swim, shower, and thrust her chest at you as often as possible. There’s no doubt, that of all the videos reviewed here this month, the director of this one, Tokanosuki Yamakazi, is easily a confirmed breast man.

When showers are forecast, take a walk with Yuko. If it comes on to rain you can shelter beneath the lady’s balcony. And while you’re down there…

The last image of the video is a late afternoon shore line shot, with clouds massed out to sea, as Yoko slowly walks toward then past the camera, and her massive breasts will imprint into your imagination forever.

Summary: After seeing this video, you may not be ready to consult a travel agent for tickets to Saipan, but it’s quite likely that you will dream about someday meeting someone named Yoko Matsugane again. Four point seven five.

The Skinny: This is the next of our Classic Reviews. Yoko made this video in the summer of 2002. That’s seven years ago. The review (which follows immediately) was originally published in early 2003. Photo captions and indented commentary made by Al-The-Editor.

Next let’s once again drool over the gorgeous and busty Yoko Matsugane starring in Enrapture from the Vega Factory. Like so many of these Japanese productions, the producers will fly the model off to some exotic location. I am all for it. Beach, waterfalls, tropical palms and the like, all add to the exotic allure. Unlike last month’s Yoko DVD which opened in a bathroom, here we find her romping on the beach, and it just happens to be on Waikiki Beach in Hawaii. The romp on the beach is just the beginning of a lengthy montage that will showcase Yoko and her marvelous pair.

We’d all love to play a round with Yoko, who looks as if she knows one end of a club from the other…. but there’s work to do. Need images. In fact I might be able to get all the images I need for this review from just that montage.

Yoko is one of the three reigning queens of the Japanese big breasts video world

Succulent Yoko is a towering 5′ 4″ tall and measures 37½-23-34½. That’s two or three cup sizes bigger than the Western average.

One problem I have with Yoko is that she is soooo photogenic. I might pull 60 or 70 captures from the DVD, then I must work hard to decide which to publish. Don’t worry, I’m up to the task.

The other two are Harumi and Megumi

No sex and no nudity in this production — although so much depends on what you mean by that word sex…

This DVD is for ALL REGIONS and will play on any machine in the world. However, you will have to send away to Japan to buy it.

This production scores very near a max

….If you experience an erection while watching Yoko, sex is probably what you’re thinking of….

And just so you know immediately where I am coming from, I loved this DVD. No sex and no nudity whatsoever, but oh my! What a pair! Ooops! Some bras are small than others….

And all of this without a glimpse of a nipple. This stuff-’em-in shot is as near as it  gets

The directors have Yoko running, jumping, bending over whenever possible, and they do their best to get those magnificent puppies to pop out of the bras and bikinis that Yoko is wearing throughout. What we don’t get to see is all those times her puppies must have escaped during the filming….

If you prefer your girls to be quiet rather than high spirited, leave Yoko to the rest of us

Yoko is wise to their tricks and she is always clutching and grabbing to keep them in. It’s a lot of fun, and Yoko displays a great amount of high spirits to match her awesome cleavage.

Yoko is just a sensational looking woman, she knows how to play to the camera, and you’ll get an even better idea of what she’s like when you watch the ten minutes of bonus footage. Watch her kid around with the crew, watch how she looks great all the time.

Summary: Four point seven five out of five, and that’s only because they give us only 40 minutes of regular footage (12 scenes) and ten minutes of bonus footage. If they had made this package a full hour, I’d have scored it as a five. This is easily Yoko’s best DVD of what I’ve reviewed so far. But there’s more on the way. Stay tuned.

The Skinny: This is early Yoko circa December 18, 2002 and it is the 1st of a new Category called Classic Reviews or maybe we could call it Retro Reviews. This was just Yoko Matsugane’s  4th DVD. It followed Dulcet, Spiritual, and Enrapture. Who could have envisioned 6 1/2 years ago, that Yoko would still be stopping men dead in their tracks in 2009 as well as still being the reigning Gravure Queen. That’s a question with no answer, right? Lest we lose any more time debating that imponderable – let’s look at the review that I wrote way back in 2003. BTW, many of the images were captioned by Al-The-Editor. In fact all of the captions were written by Al, who passed away in June of 2006.

The last of our busty Japanese models is the spectacular Yoko Matsugane who stars in Violation produced by Pony Canyon. [edit: at the time of the original publication, AoV was a monthly web-zine rather than the ongoing blog that it is today.]

In a peculiar opening shot we have the production crew in a hotel room with Yoko clad in skimpy sleepwear as an assistant fusses over her costume. Then there’s a cut to a bathroom scene with a chair sitting in the tub with the shower running and the tub filled with water, with both seemingly nearing overflow. Yoko enters the scene and sits on the chair. What does it mean? I’ve no idea, but she wears a revealing white bikini and looks great.

Yoko takes a shower while sitting on a chair in the bath. You mean you don’t do it that way? You weird or what?

After that, the video returns to normalcy. Yoko is a surfer and they have her riding some waves on a body board, along with some close ups of her face and her bust.

After that opening scene, just about anything would be considered normal, apart from the extraordinary size of Yoko’s bust.

The recurring theme is facial close-ups and cleavage close-ups. There’s no problem with that as Yoko is not only gorgeous, but she has a massive chest. We then get a series of glamour shots on the beach, in a bedroom, on a deck, all of which prove the point just mentioned.

Next, Yoko and company go up into the hills in the rain-forest, and there’s a gentle rain falling and a waterfall as a backdrop.

This is not only very pretty to look at, but also very atmospheric, and so very sensual. The camera adores Yoko, and she is marvelously expressive with small movements with her eyes and lips.

Then there’s a recurring interview. The bad news is that it is set in the bathroom. The good news is that Yoko wears only a bra and panties and she has got a very full bosom that bubbles over her bra.

There are no subtitles to read and no nipples poking through the bra. But the interview shows many close-ups, and Yoko looks quite beautiful, and they do find a way to pan the camera across her tits quite often.

Yoko’s interview takes place in the bathroom. And why not? She seems quite comfortable with the idea. And maybe she needed a pee….

A scene is shot in strange wooded area, but they toss a few tricks at us by swapping in some lens filters and then utilizing digital editing to make the scene achieve blue tints, green tints, b&w plus red, monochromatic looks, and so forth. This was a bad decision as the primordial forest was worth showing in its natural splendor.

Yoko, baby, don’t move; there’s something with half a million legs just about to crawl up the inside of your creamy thigh….

Next Yoko is wrapped up in bows and ribbons like she would be someone’s best ever gift.

And then Yoko wears a big-cupped faux leopard-skin lace bra in a wonderful scene shot on the beach during and after sunset, as she walks among some oil lamps, the flames making a nice contrast versus the darkening sky.

Yoko is down on the beach ready to welcome the boatload of mutineers from the Bounty. All the umbrellas in these shots belong to Gene Kelly.

The finale has Yoko back in the Hawaiian surf, and her board does a flip as it cruises in close to shore. The crew helps her out of the sea and offers aid and comfort as Yoko tears up and needs a towel. The final credits scroll by and we get some fleeting outtakes most of which bring her prominent bust line in to view.

Overall the video was very nicely done. Yoko should have a fine career ahead of her as a model and maybe even as an actress. As for Violation, it wasn’t a strong as I would have liked but it still rates a four point zero on our rating scale.
