The Skinny: Actually I had a lengthy wait yesterday for my package from Japan to finally arrive. Instead of arriving no later than 10:30 AM as was the case in the past when Fedex had the account, this time the package didn’t show up until close to 4:30 PM. The DHL van had driven down from Tampa, and the driver said he hadn’t been in the area before. Also worth noting is the unexplained 17 hour wait my package had in Los Angeles after clearing customs, and the fact that the package had been opened and resealed. Amazon.co.jp – are you reading this? Switch back to Fedex please.

I was eager to have look at the first of Rui Kiriyama‘s January 20th double release. Now that I have watched the DVD I am of the opinion that Rui seems perfectly positioned to take over the Numero Uno/Ichiban spot vacated by the retired Nonami Takizawa.

The DVD opens on a beautiful white sand beach located in Guam . Rui scampers about. It is dazzling to watch such a high spirited and awesomely curved woman in a bikini. The sky is blue but a bit cloudy, the seas sparkle, and we get both a musical sound track as well as the natural sounds of the wind and the surf along with whatever Rui decides to say.

This is followed by a rather boring scene in a structure that might be best described as an almost building. Rui enters this setting in a decidedly dull white blouse and short black skirt – sort of a school uniform without frills or color. Someone sees fit to pour some water on her. A sheet is set up on the floor, and from here Rui will strip down to the basic minimums. More water is added as well as a ice popsicle, but the scene never rises above the ‘so what’ level.

The third of the main chapters is indoors. Rui wears something on top which at times falls away from her body except for two key pieces of two sided tape which keeps this garment from totally exposing her boobs. Oh well, we will have to settle for 90%.

Actually the highlight of this chapter are Rui’s tight green panties which show off how curvy her butt is. This is another chapter in a small space which limits her actions.

Four which is Number 5 on the Root Menu, is an action-packed segment in the park. Rui starts with a hula hoop, then trades that in for medium red ball that she has to pump air into herself. This is a great chapter for those of you who love the boobs in motion motif. The only downer about this scene is the silly noises coming from Ms Rui. Once the ball and hoops have outlived their usefulness, Rui does a version of hop-scotch. Then she shadow boxes with big white boxing gloves. Finally they go prop-less and Rui poses on a wooden picnic table.

The next chapter begins with Rui in bed. She wears a top which is half silk (in the front) and half see-through (the back) with matching silk panties. Then in a totally unexpected segment, Rui has a dish of Jell-O in front of her but no spoon. Better for everyone if they can get back to posing, and quickly – and they do. This chapter is lessened to a degree by the over use of facial close-up, but despite that, this is another chapter that big boob lovers will go for.

Next we are back outdoors. Rui has borrowed a page from the Kitamura, … oops, Mizuki playbook, so we see her in an abbreviated cat outfit -small ears and a tail. The rest of the costume is a standard bikini.

This chapter is mostly a lot of tail wiggles. Until Rui, in a supposed pique, yanks the tail out, and then runs across the field and ends up in a baseball dugout for some more non-role playing posing which worked for me.

The dugout material wasn’t that hot – but it beats a pseudo kitty any day of the week.

Rui appears in the next chapter in a one piece revealing swimsuit. The song is the one that has the lyric – ‘Cause a heart that never falls, never breaks’ which is sung by Trisha Yearwood.

This chapter is set in a non-standard swimming pool, it looks like a man-made structure created to look like a natural hot springs (onsen) so we do get some underwater footage – but the main purpose of this chapter is show off Rui’s figure.

Want to see Rui as a pole-dancer? Your wish is granted as that’s what you get in the next chapter. I wish the lighting had been better. Ditto for the music. But for Rui, I’ll let the images speak for themselves.

Maybe your imagination about Rui runs in a different direction. In the next chapter she shows up in a basic French Housemaid costume – in the short skirt division. We get some sexy posing, some looks into that vast cleavage, butt, and some charmingly sweet smiles. But then, and still in the kitchen the maid skirt, blouse , and vest go away leaving Rui in a bustier, the maid’s head-piece, panties and stockings.

In the blink of an eye we are outdoors following Rui up the stairs. In another blink of the eye, we are back to a room with furniture. It looks like we have stepped inside from the patio.

In the next chapter, 11th on your menu, but actually the 10th of the main chapters, Rui shows up in a yellow bikini top and beige panties that don’t actually match the top.

This is going to be a bath scene.

Maybe we can call it – “Can You Believe How Big Her Breasts Are”? Rui looks quite sexy when she’s wet and soapy. That’s a statement, not a question – but feel free to agree.

In the triple image of Rui directly below, I’m sure you will agree that Kiriyama-san is definitely a cheeky girl.

Soon enough, Rui puts down the hand held shower apparatus so she can take the clasp out of her hair. Some lucky fellow grabs the shower nozzle and proceeds to give Rui a good rinsing off.

The last of the main chapters is called Traditional Night. For the first time in the DVD, we see Rui wearing eye glasses. She’s not in a hotel room. This looks like a someone’s bedroom. There are a lot of Men’s neckties in the closet.

About midway through the chapter the lights are dimmed. Now we understand the Chapter title. This is the finale, the bedroom scene, otherwise known as a seduction. Rui finds a mirror on the bed – so maybe she’s going solo, and we going to be seduced at a distance. That looks like the case when she kisses her mirror image. Then out of nowhere, a white link chain appears. Certainly this is used as a prop even though the implication could be bondage. Then, just as suddenly, the chain is gone, and Rui is given a small bottle of water. Then a mist is sprayed on her. Ultimately she will begin to lower the straps of her bra top, and then comes the fade-out.

Next is the traditional tee-shirt signing, the credits, a preview of the second DVD of this double release, and then the bonus chapter which is only a minute and three quarters in length. It looks like mostly gaffes, outtakes, and goofs. It was not the least bit special and that was disappointing.

Summary: Rui Kiriyama has everything you’d want in a major gravure star. And I think she’s even better than that. As I said up top, I think she’s on the top of the charts right now. Unfortunately, this is not one her best DVDs. I’m saying that is not Rui having a few off-days, instead it is more due to the somewhat choppy editing, the over-use of facial close-ups, and the often inexplicable changes within a specific chapter – which is of course is the result of choppy and misguided editing and planning.

If you love Rui Kiriyama, and if you love watching a busty babe, then this DVD more than meets those requirements. But be warned this is not a video free of flaws. However, Rui will still keep you involved, enthused, and excited. Four point zero is the rating.
