The Skinny: I last reviewed a video featuring Kirika Nishino back in September. It was called Melon π. . You can read that review here . My conclusion was that while Kirika had the looks and the figure to be a sensational model, she really didn’t work at engaging the viewers. She was simply quite eager to tease and titillate by removing her bikini tops but she came off as being too matter-of-a-fact about posing. Like she really didn’t care.

Nor did she appear to be enjoying the process. In this new DVD, Gypsy, there’s a bit of an improvement in that regard. Not a whole lot of improvement, but you can see it here and there.

While this one, just like Melon pi, was produced and released by E-Net, there is a difference. This time they got her out to Bali for a shoot at a luxury resort. So while Kirika still hasn’t really warmed up as much as we’d hoped for, this video has some great images, and some beautiful settings.

Given that settings and locations can and do make the viewing experience more enjoyable, let’s jump right into this DVD from that perspective. This image above has Kirika out in a rice paddy.

Of course they’re going to zoom in for a closeup which you’ll enjoy. But it is more than just location. Sometimes the video makers will decide to feature certain angles which they repeat in every scene regardless of the location. From that perspective we can start with:

Near a wooden support…

Or how about in a bed,

on a ball,

in the bath,

or in a basket. But wait, we aren’t even close to being done.

Kirina also looks good when she’s just looking at you intensely. What’s more, they’ve even managed to offer some pics of Kirika in regular clothes….

…or maybe without clothes.

It would have been so much if she had only smiled more.

Summary: Obviously, E-Net has taken a different tactic with Kirika this time around. Completely gone and with not even a hint showing, we are happy to say ‘Sayonara’ to the student persona that figured so prominently in her last DVD. Quite refreshing actually.

I’m giving Kirika Nishino a four point zero for this DVD. That is a huge full two point gain over her previous video. Yes, she still needs to work on smiling more and showing that she’s having fun, but at least some of that motivation should come from the director inspiring her more. Maybe cracking some jokes mixed with some more compliments will do the trick next time out.
