The Skinny: I believe this is the 3rd DVD in 2010 for Marina Yamasaki; and if it isn’t her third DVD, at the least, it is her 3rd time on our review pages. She had a February release (click for the review) and a May release (click for the review). So she’s been a busy model this year. Which is a good thing or us.
After the montage we meet Marina on a shop-lined street. She’s wearing a sleeveless turtle-necked sweater, and a short khaki skirt. This is a good start in my opinion as I’m quite bored with the usual school uniform openings that we see so often. Another way of appreciating the value of street-wear is that I’m quite certain that for the rest of the DVD she’ll be in bikinis, and less, so this will be the only time we will see her dressed – in the fullest sense of the word.
Anyway, she walks to a house, enters the bedroom and begins to wipe down the windows, and that’s just the prelude to taking off her skirt and top.
Shortly afterwards, we find her in a yellow bikini on the beach. It’s not the prettiest beach we’ve seen, and the sun wasn’t at its best, but Marina can brighten up any day or anyplace. It is an okay scene but the jogging part of it didn’t add much. Still, a day of the beach with Marina has to be worthwhile.
Three has Marina playing the role of a house-maid. Yes, she’s bra-less beneath that apron. The middle section of this chapter has Marina being fed an ice-cream popsicle – which is not one of my favorite activities for a gravure model. But the front and end segments were fine.
Four has Marine wearing what amounts to costume jewelry, panties, and very little more. The scene isn’t much for action or an activity. Consider that it is just posing.
Five has Marina in bed. Though not a particularly interesting scene visually, the scene does have something quite good in it. Pay attention to the beginning when Marina is awakened by our presence in her bed room. Sure looks like she was awakened – I mean not really – but it was a great bit of acting.
No acting in the picture to the right. That’s Marina in all her wide-hipped splendor looking distinctly curvy.
With no lines to remember, no marks to hit, and no rapid fire directorial instructions to absorb, Marina can just curl up in a ball which allows her to just relax. I can’t say for sure, but maybe she might even doze off for a few seconds after the director yelled… Cut, that’s a wrap!
After that comes the ‘morning shower’. For my taste – the room was a bit too bright. But I must admit that a sudsy sleek Marina is enticing.
Seven is also a simple scene. Our lovely model Marina enters as a kimono clad beauty and shortly afterwards the kimono is shed. All of the ‘action’ is either is the corner of the room, or on the futon.
Eight has Marina out for a jog. She stretches, jogs and while cooling off, the crew thought it might be fun to douse her with some water. Ah, whatever happened to creativity?
Nine is a posing sessions with Marina decked out in fishnet stoclking and a charcoal, lacy garment above. Nothing special here aside from the costume. You will recognize that this scene was the one from which the cover image was taken.
Ten is another shower sequence. The shower has black tile and Marina wears a red bikini, so the colors are matched nicely. But the scene lacks magic. It is what it is a nice looking woman in a red bikini in a shower – but there’s nothing that makes this one stand out or become a scene you’ll want to watch over and over.
The last of the main chapters has Marina in a very brief bikini. She will end up laying on the beach topless and having to employ a hand-bra. And that’s that.
A five minute Behind the Scenes/making of Featurette follows.
Summary: I like Marina. She comes off as a sexy girl-next-door type. She’s not glamorous, nor does her body seem like one in a million. But she does seem warm and approachable, and enjoyable. The camera work and the design of the production were no more than average, and in truth I must say that this was the weakest of Marina’s three released DVDs that I’ve reviewed. Three Point zero is the rating.

What about the latest video featuring Hitomi Kitamura/Mizuki Tama: “Swinution”?
Hi Daniel – Yes, I have that one. I’ve had a look at it. Hitomi Kitamura as you know, is one of my favorite models. Just check my search engine and you’ll see that I have reviewed all of her titles. Most are on this website, but I have reviewed others. Give me another day or so. Thanks for asking.
