The Skinny: I like Momoko Tani so much that I’ve brought her back to my pages for a 3rd review following Fresh! Eye, and the more recent Koi Momo. She’s sparkling, beautiful, and is simply a most delightful model.

The first chapter is an intimate visit with Momoko in a bath. This is scene is not wonderful simply because we are closeup to a beauty as she relaxes in a small bath tub. Instead, you will appreciate this chapter because of what it shows of her spirit, energy, and personality. The eyes are a window into what is going on with a person, and with Momoko, it is just a delight watching her expressive face and eyes.
Two begins with the late afternoon sun’s reflection glittering on the water’s surface . Momoko looks out over the water. We soon move away from the sea view as she plays on a lawn. If anything, Momoko is even more lively in this scene than she was in the 1st one. Occasionally, you will hear her laugh over and above the musical track by the Beatles. By the time the sound track song ends, we’ve also run out of sunlight too.
Three has Momoko as a playful yet sultry feline. But the nekko (cat) ears and tail don’t stay on for long. What we then see is Momoko in a black bra and panties, and silver high-heeled shoes posing on a bed.
But the shoes don’t last long either. Momoko is quite playful in this chapter. While it isn’t as striking visually as the first two chapters, this is a more erotic Momoko.
Take a pretty Japanese girl, add some braiding to her hair, and you’ve got someone new to watch.
Not really. But if you add a yukata, a particularly stylish one, then you will notice a slight change in the posture, carriage, and movements by Momoko. That’s enjoyable on its own, but then factor in the colors of the garment, and your pleasure increases even more.
It is still her, but somehow she’s more…formal, more composed, yet not any less beautiful. Of course, once the yukata is opened and removed to reveal a small light green bra and dual colored green (dark and light) panties, things change in how she moves.
In five, Momoko has switched gears completely. Now she wears a provocative orange costume. She’s starts by reclining atop of a bar. Soon enough, we will find on the billiards table. The music is a jazzy guitar piece. Despite the daylight streaming in, Momoko changes what should have been a steamy night scene into a cool daytime chapter.
When this chapter ends, we aren’t quite at the halfway point. They put up a placard that reads in English – ‘Short Break’ with a artistic cup of steaming coffee for the pictorial part of the message. It turns out to be an interview with Momoko who is full of animation and is enjoying herself while talking.
But a girl has to earn a living, and the producer’s crew is likely on the clock, so it is back to work. We are soon back on the beach and Momoko playfully scampers about in a bikini. It is a breezy day, so her hair is in motion. But it isn’t too cool, so Momoko gets wet. The two music tracks in this chapter are kind of annoying. Luckily, we have volume controls for these kind of circumstances.
The seventh chapter has Momoko is a longish white sweater. She wears smoky pantie-hose which she will eventually lower. This takes place outdoors. We are up in the hills, but there are other homes and buildings in sight, so we know we aren’t anywhere too remote.
Next is a fast paced scene. Momoko wears a glittering sparkling bikini.It is night and despite the direct lighting, there are shadows as well as dark backgrounds. Basically this is a failed scene, but certainly the fault is not the fault of the model.
A bedroom scene follows. Our lovely model wears a red bikini with a number of golden bangles on her left forearm. She looks good against the white sheets. But it is a small bed so her mobility is limited. But the director saves it for awhile when he has her stand on the bed but in the corner of the room. But when she resumes her place on the bed the lighting is too harsh.But he eventually gets that right too. Still, it is a playful scene which is the saving grace.
A little than twenty minutes remain at this point. Here the director, Kimiaki Urashima, gets even more ambitious. As the scene begins, Momoko is wearing a silk blouse, a short dark skirt, stockings, and some costume jewelry. We watch as she’s trying to avoid someone, but she has chosen the wrong path. She’s now in room but there’s no escape. It looks like a public bath house. She’s being chased or hunted by a maniac wielding a – working shower nozzle. So Momoko proceeds to get doused with water. Eventually she removes her blouse, skirt, and rips her stockings. This is done in a series of blackouts. Then the stalker enters again. He has something in his hands. Momoko’s shoes! He hurls these down to floor where she is cowering. After that the scene becomes conventional as she poses in the bath house water tank. And that’s how the main chapters end.
We still have less than twelve minutes remaining. There’s a very good behind the scenes segment and a slide show that takes us to the end of the DVD.
Summary: Terrific model for sure. The DVD itself has a superb first half, but some of the later scenes had some flaws or issues. But, on the whole, it is all good. You’re not getting any unwatchable scenes. And even the flawed scenes have their high points. But I didn’t think this one was as good as the recently reviewed Koi Momo. So the rating here is a tad lower at three point seven five.
