Rio Natsume – My Girl (May 20th, 2010)

The Skinny: In this brand new release from M’s World, which may be a subsidiary of Line Communications (I’m not sure yet), Rio Natsume has the role of the title character, My Girl. But in a distinct and new manner, and whatever the inspiration or rationale, Rio has brought a whole new level (for her) of pseudo-sexual activity to the screen. But this is in just one scene.

In the opener following the montage, Rio is slithering around the hotel lobby which is completely deserted. She wears a fuzzy, white, long-sleeved, sweater dress. We follow her as she snakes her way up the stairs – this is quite nice to watch – to a gallery which overlooks the atrium lobby.She will shed the sweater to show off her bra-encased mega-boobs and her panties.

She then heads back down the same steps, with the camera in close to show the jiggle as she hops down the steps. Aside from the scene ending abruptly, there was too much white  – white sweater, white walls, white lace drapes, white panties etc. The one thing that was colorful was the framed poster of the famous Gustav Klimt painting called ‘The Kiss” that Rio passed on the staircase.

Next, we find Rio in a tight skirt and blouse. With the camera situated at mid thigh level we’ll soon have a look under Rio’s skirt. She wears pantie-hose. Before long she’s climbed up on a table, opened and removed her blouse, then ditto for the skirt. Then this scene ends abruptly. That’s two straight scenes ending unexpectedly.

Maybe it is the same scene, because when we resume. there’s Rio in the same bra and panties we just saw, only now she’s crawling around on a twin bed. Twin beds are never a good sign in a gravure video. A major gravure idol should never have to share a room, or have less than top of the line accommodations. I know, it is easy for me to say since I’m not the producer, and I’m definitely not paying the bills  for this or any other production. Anyway, this is a very weak scene which isn’t helped by the dreadfully boring and repetitive music.

In the following scene, there’s Rio in a sexy maid’s costume. It looks like a public bathhouse – lots of tile… and the opening shot showed Rio with lots of baskets on shelves – standard for a bath house or spa, but for the most part it is hard to tell as the camera is up too close to Rio.

After yet another sudden and jarring cut – there’s Rio on the floor – ostensibly doing something to us – which we can’t say for certain as her hands aren’t in view. When we do see her hands, they’re soapy.

Rio uses a big sponge to soap herself. She’s wearing a black bra and panties. This takes place in a shower stall.

But, she doesn’t rinse herself off. She simply stands there with her arms folded over her chest as the soap is rinsed off. I guess who ever edited this never heard of ‘fade to black’ as we once again get a jarring cut from one scene to the next.

This time Rio is seated at a table in her hotel room, eating some desserts and drinking a glass of milk. She also has a lolly-pop. For an extended period the camera is in close so it is just a head shot and then even closer as we watch Rio work on the lolly-pop. Then an ice cream cone.

Then there’s a change of pace – it is the same scene, but Rio crawls on the floor pushing what looks like a paint roller, but it is probably a tape thingy to pick up lint and dust from the floor. They offer many views from above looking down in Rio’s cleavage, or have her bend forward as she uses a dust cloth on a table. Not even having Rio take off her shirt and continue the dusting, cleaning, and wiping helps this scene. There’s a lot of cleavage and jiggling to ogle, but the scene isn’t fun at all.

Rio shows up at a gym for some aerobics in the next stanza. She jogs, shadow-boxes, hits the heavy bag, and bounces on an exercise ball until she’s worn out. Like the previous scene, there’s much emphasis on her bust.

A massage scene follows. I think the camera is in too close much of the time. There’s a good amount of massage for Rio’s boobs – the sides and the tops in particular. But there’s no beneath the bra massage.

Rio as a private dancer follows. There’s a pole…but no audience. And the music is the same style and tempo as we’ve heard in every single scene so far. Rio in a bra and panties, with her hair down, is watchable, but this scene is only just that – watchable.  There’s no excitement at all.

After the pole dance, we find Rio back in the twin bed room. This time she begins in bra and panties. She first puts on a white blouse, the black stockings, then a short black skirt, and her shoes. I think she tells us she’s leaving.

Then, with no transition, fade, or any other kind of standard way for a scene to end, we suddenly find Rio in a frilly dress standing in front of the white lace curtains. This apparently is a night scene as behind the curtains it is dark. Rio works her way out her clothes until she’s just wearing a bra and panties. She’ll pose alluringly, then begin jumping up and down on the bed. The angle is as if we are laying on the bed looking up. Shortly after, she then is lower and much closer, as if she is atop of us having sex. This is straight out of a Yoko DVD and I don’t believe I have seen Rio do this before.

The last of the main chapters has someone sneaking into Rio dark bedroom. There’s a flashlight and we wonder, is Rio asleep(?) under the sheet. She awakens, lowers the sheet, and smiles. That’s it.

The last three minutes have Rio seated and talking to us.

Summary: Easily Rio’s worst DVD ever. Totally indoors, not particularly colorful, horrid music throughout, an unattractive and often ill-fitting wardrobe, plus a complete lack of editing skills all contribute to the utter waste of having Rio on screen. Her body has matured, and she’s spectacularly contoured (and that is something of an understatement). If all you want is to ogle big boobs and a stunning tail assembly, then this video might work for you.

But if you have watched Rio Natsume many times before this, or even only a few times before this, I’m positive you will be disappointed. Since I have reviewed almost all of her DVD’s, I feel qualified to make this kind of a strong statement. The rating is just two point seven five, I am very disappointed with this release, and I do not recommend this one at all.
