The Skinny: Somewhere along the way on my travels, or should I say my conversations, I was told that this DVD was a “Best Of” compilation. To the best of my knowledge – it isn’t. Or at least I don’t recall any of the scenes presented. So that’s a good thing.

We’ve always given Anri fairly good to great reviews. Only one DVD called Life received just an average review (three point zero) and that was a year ago in April 2009.

Well, as you can see from the posted point rating, I really liked this latest Anri release. There’s ten main chapters making up the sixty minutes. That averages to about six minutes per which means none of the chapters have what we call ‘bloat’.

Anri is her usual cheerful and playful self – and that’s if she’s just standing around not doing much at all. Which is the case most of the time in this DVD. Anri can flirt with the best of them. The director gives her ample opportunity to do so, as most of the motion comes from the camera movements. That doesn’t mean she’s still or inactive. Not at all. Anri does a superb job of flaunting her assets in her beguiling and seductive style. I guess that’s why she is so popular – she puts a lot of effort into playing or performing for the viewer.

After an effective opening montage, we find Anri on a balcony overlooking the sea. She wears a fuzzy sweatshirt which shows off acres of cleavage. She will nibble on a mango and look so seductive while doing so. But then, the hand-fruit is abandoned for some body lotion.

Two is a pool setting. Anri wears a skimpy bikini, and the scene is shot both in and out of the water with extra emphasis on her boobs.

Three has Anri working with a long tubular icicle. Her bikini looks good but the hanging in the sun to dry laundry is really tacky.

Four feature Anri as an office lady, She wears eyeglasses and an office uniform. The scene is shot in her hotel room. Yes, she’s going to take of the business attire including the white shirt. When she’s done disrobing all she will be wearing is a bra and panties combo.

Five is a sudsy bathtub scene. All goes well until a hand appears wielding a scrub brush. There’s very little scrubbing to speak of. Instead, think of the brush poking and prodding her boobs and buns.

Six has two parts – one by a strange looking truck and the other in an abandoned building. Anri wears a striped bikini top with black bottoms with a ribbon that matches the top. The scene takes special care to accentuate her bust.

Seven has Anri in a white bikini with lots of smileys. I’m sure that she is at what was once a public beach location but now has what looks like many abandoned concession stands. we don’t see any sign of anyone else, which is why I say that it is an abandoned beach. She’s posing in front of ancient tree while she applies some sun tanning lotion. Then she’s on the beach, and even in the water. She’ll manage to let the Popsicle drip into her cleavage. A good deal of this chapter features some shots from below looking upward at her curves.

Eight begins on a paved road. There’s Anri with a flower in her hair. She wears a very skimpy sun-dress. She’s playful and flirtatious. Eventually she moves to back-alley somewhere and poses by pressing against an old chain-link fence.

Nine has Anri wearing a sexy one piece swimsuit. There’s not a lot to this costume as it is open to below her navel. The setting varies from a road, to behind a large billboard that faces the sea, and some abandoned concrete pipes.

Ten begins with Anri posing in a bamboo enclosure. She wears a frilly white bikini. She end up applying some lotion (once again) in what will be the last of the main chapters.

This is followed by a Making Of chapter which includes an interview, some outtakes, and some behind the scenes footage.

Summary: As usual Anri Sugihara will charm you and excite you. She’ll flaunt her ample assets in each and every scene. She’s definitely a great model with a sensational figure.

The video features the nine main chapters which are all pretty much the same. Anri doesn’t speak in any of them, but she still manages to say plenty in her non-verbal way.

I’m going to give the DVD a four and quarter rating. Having most of the scenes following the same style and format might be tiresome, and you might consider that the director needs to improve on his game plan. But with Anri on screen – you’re not going to think that at all.
