The Skinny: The 21 year old beauty from Kyoto has just released her latest DVD called Mai Enjoy. Besides this one, she’s been quite busy with  more new video to follow, including a double release scheduled to hit the shelves in less than three weeks on May 21st. As usual, Mai will be strike you with her wonderful mixture of youth and beauty.

This DVD is from E-Net Frontier, and the format is by the numbers and makes all the stops at the usual places like on the beach, in the bath, and in the bedrooms. Mai wears the usual assortment of outfits like tee-shirts & shorts, bikinis, bra and panties, as well as a beautiful white and red yukata. Despite that the usual costumes, and the familiar settings, are present, this DVD is far from just being another in the lengthy line of gravure idol videos.

The Introduction starts with Mai on a beach. After looking down into her own cleavage she decides to put on her bikini top. Once that’s done, she looks right at us and says, Okay!…and the montage launches.

There are three scenes which seem somewhat out of place, and I’ll mention them here to get them out of the way. One would be Mai playing volleyball in a red bikini. Previously she hadn’t struck me as the athletic type.

The second begins with Mai whisking a bowl of what will become whipped cream. However that doesn’t get too far along before Mai abandons that to just do some straight posing using the kitchen chair as a prop with a few dollops of whipped cream strategically placed for the visual effects.

The final scene that struck me as being a bit misplaced was a bedroom scene. Mind you we are at a tropical resort. There’s not only bright sunshine, spectacular beaches, and there’s no hint of anything except Mai on an idyllic holiday at a gorgeous Saipan beach resort. So I was kind of surprised the bedroom scene began with Mai wearing a brief Santa Claus costume. It is more of a sexy scene than you might expect from Mai – and fortunately the red and white costume plays only a small part in this scene.

It was also the last of the Main chapters. A brief coda tacked on to the end of the scene has Mai sharing some Christmas cake with some one.
I thought the first beach scene was excellent, the first bedroom scene was great, and I liked the scene with Mai wearing the beautiful yukata as she begins to pose in the coral setting. Though this style of scene has been done many times, I still get a kick out the wonderful yukatas.

Summary: Another great DVD from Mai Nishida. I’ll score this one at four and quarter. There’s nothing really wrong, but the lack of creative freshness has to be worth mentioning. But they were blessed with great weather. And finally, the closing moments of the main chapters with Mai sitting down for candlelight cake seemed out of place for a DVD released in late April.
