The Skinny: My first impression was that this was a rather well made DVD. No new ground was broken technically which means that this video is a lot like so many others that we’ve reviewed. That’s the bad news. The good news is that this video is free of the excessive directorial and editing gimmicks that often diminish the value of a gravure video.

My second impression is that Miiyu Watanabe (left), a budding and pretty gravure idol and Erika Toda (right), a rising star in Japanese television drama series look alike. What do think?

The first chapter has Myu in her J-school uniform. I’ve never been able to understand why you fly a model from Japan to Bali, then have her put on a school uniform from home. Whatever. She ends up in bed and the uni comes off.

Nice butt. Worth two looks. Bra and panties is as far as it goes.But this is the chapter where I thought of the similarities between Myu and Erica.

Scene Two has Myu in a shower. She seems to be enjoying herself. Scrub-a-dub-dub. Eventually a hand with a brush creeps into view, and attempts to scrub Myu’s fanny. But she’s not going for it.

Three is out on the patio. Myu works with a small (for a change) exercise ball. After awhile, the scene becomes simple straight forward posing.

Four is by the poolside. Myu applies sunlotion. First she’s on the lounger, then she leans against the ladder for climbing out odf the pool, then she’s under an umbrella.

Five begins with Myu is a yellow polo shirt, and an abrreviated short skirt. She’s trying to serve and volley with a badminton raquet. Honestly, her hand/eye coordination leaves a lot to be desired; as does the camera work. On occasion she doesn’t miss, but we never get a clear shot of her returning the volley. We know she hit it because play did not stop for her to pick the shuttlecock up from the ground. Oh well, nice view of the nearby rice paddies. Ultimately, the short skirt comes off.

Six starts with Myu in a blouse and sweater plus a skirt. She playfully runs away from us, and the camera purposefully chases after her. She’ll end up in the van, to tease us by not quite taking off her clothes. Opening her blouse is a more accurate description.

Seven begins with Myu awakening. She’s wearing some hideous pajamas. ‘Nuff said for this part of the chapter. Eventually she will shed the pajamas and things look a lot better.

Eight begins with Myu in a sundress testing the pool’s water temperature with her foot.

But that’s just the teaser part of the chapter. Myu heads back inside for some posing and the sun dress never does come off.

Nine find her in a red one-piece bathing suit. She’ll work out with a large beach ball, make that an exercise ball for awhile, by the pool, before settling in for some posing.

The 10th and last chapter finds Myu in bed. She’ll pose for us in a bra and panties. She looks good but the scene was marred (to a degree) by the lighting which gave everything a somewhat faint but over-saturated look.

Summary: As I said at the beginning of the review – a well made video. They didn’t ask a lot of the model, and they didn’t ask a lot of the viewers either. Nothing that I found fault with would cause any kind of serious point reductions. I liked the setting in Bali, and I liked the model. I would have hoped that they shot a scene at the beach but they didn’t

Four point zero, and I’d like to see Miyu Watanabe again in a future video.
