The Skinny: Seems like I hardly know where to start. Maybe I should continue where I left off in the last Rio Natsume reviews because even though this video is from I-One and the last two were from Air Control, all of them were shot at the same resort. Rio & the JWB Resort in Cebu, it’s becoming redundant.  This seems to be her favorite destination, but I think it’s time for a change. I wonder if the Idol and her agency are calling the shots about the where – and the studio decides the when. While you ponder that for all of a second or two, I’ll launch this review.

From the montage, we learn that we are going to be spending a good amount of time with Rio’s boobs and buns. Of course this is the purpose of many Idol DVDs but the difference is in the degree or amount of ogling opportunities that are presented.

Chapter one finds Rio in a Yellow turtleneck jersey (sleeveless of course), and a short skirt. We are first on the stairs then the rooftop of some structure. She will tug up the jersey to reveal her boobs encased in a huge cupped bra which is very pretty, and she’ll also show us that she’s wearing pantie-hose over her pretty lace trimmed panties. And there’s music. And one more thing – out of nowhere, Rio will bend over and we find that she has a small baby bottle in her hand which gives her an opportunity to suck on a nipple.

But then they switch to what can only be called a utility room which is the home of a washing machine and a dryer. Rio will remove her yellow turtleneck, then the skirt, then her pantie-hose. She hasn’t much room to do more then stand and turn in the small space. So the camera takes long and loving looks at her huge boobs encased in the bra, and her buns in the lace-trimmed panties. But there’s no music, so the scene comes off as flat and forced. Rio snaps her bra straps and snaps her panties hose at the waist. And those are the highlights. While I’m not prepared to label this a bad scene, it clearly lacks something.

Next we find Rio on the beach in a very unusual bikini. For that matter I’m not even sure one can call this costume a bikini. For one thing the top has no shoulder straps and has no side straps either. It’s like there are these cups that contain Rio’s boobs and that’s it for the top. Besides that, they have attached (via glue) maybe a couple of dozen glittering and colorful jewelry stones to Rio’s chest and abdomen. The beach part is very brief, she can’t swim, or lay down in the sand in this costume, so she jogs a few steps to allow us some jiggle, before again moving indoors to an abandoned building.

All that happens here is that the cups have a front clasp which Rio opens. Aside from one turn she’ll just stand there before walking out of the scene. Creative costume? Yes. Plenty of boob-age? Yes. Value of the scene – very little.

Four is even more of a puzzle. First we have a kimono clad Rio walk towards an ornately carved door. She doesn’t open it, instead she kneels down on the gravel and slowly reveals what is beneath her kimono.

It happens to be a very pretty red print bikini. The upper part is a bandeau, and below are matching panties with a small panel of matching material. Then you blink and we are looking at Rio from inside that doorway that she was just in front of. Water starts to fall on her from the right side.

Then the next thing you know there’s a glass table. Rio presses her boobs against it (good) then sits on it (bad, very bad). That image is to the right. Hardly what you might call attractive.

Five is indoors with Rio in bra and panties plus stockings and a garter belt. The panties have a faux-snakeskin look to them. The bra is charcoal lace. Rio sits on the chair, straddles the chair, kneels on the chair before posing (standing) in front of a mirror. She’ll then unhook the bra and press herself against the mirror. Soon she walks over to a bed and lays down. Nothing much happens at all.

Six presents a bouncy Rio in a matched top and panties. This is the sixth chapter (the montage plus 5 main chapters) but is the 1st of the main chapter in which Rio smiles and looks like she’s having fun. I’m not kidding.

Rio laughs and smiles and even tries to make her boobs swing but the top is too stiff. Some body lotion is applied. Rio then approaches the infinity swimming pool where she’ll jump up and down.

Sorry those boobs aren’t going to tumble out of her top, In the pool we have some underwater shots. As the scene closes, Rio leans in to plant a kiss on us. Sorry , for a pool scene, this one really didn’t work. The bikini wasn’t attractive, and the camera work was okay on land but pretty poor underwater. At least Rio was happy and smiling.

A bedroom scene is up next. The camera takes on the ‘role’ of a peeping tom in the first part. Rio is ‘asleep’ and the camera enters the room and the covers are lifted to provide some great shots of Rio’s tush.

Ultimately she wakes up and talks to us. The she sits up and out of nowhere (as in completely unexpected), some body oil is dripped into her cleavage. She rubs it in. Then ditto for her buns.

Eight has Rio in gym short and a tee. She’s seated on a beautifully polished hardwood floor and she’s stretching. She calls us ‘sensei’ as in teacher and asks that we help her stretch. A pair of hands come into view and push her from the back. Then she’s up and jumping for a brief few seconds. Aerobics? Maybe. Soon the tee shirt and the shorts come off. Rio is in a red and white polka dot bikini.

She’ll sit on one of those large exercise balls and bounce. When that’s done, she’s on the floor leaning against the wall, when again, out of nowhere, unseen hands pour water on her. Then the infamous plastic grippers appear and tug at her bra straps. They don’t succeed in removing bra, but Rio must hold it against her bust so it won’t fall off. And suddenly the scene ends.

Rio in the bath is next. She wears a lace bra and panties. Again unseen hands, likely holding the shower apparatus, proceed to get her wet. After which Rio hold the shower head herself.  There are some nice views of her butt.

Suddenly Rio’s bust is covered in shaving cream. It is clear that she has no top on. Her entire chest is covered in shaving cream. She turns this way and that way affording us some very nice views to see  the shape and size of her boobs. But there’s no movement of her hands. Eventually they cut and she’s seated. Now her boobs are pressed against her thighs. Then she stands and someone else uses the shower head to rinse away the shaving cream. Not much water pressure so it won’t happen too quickly, but all that stuff is going to be washed away.

Another cut, and Rio walks into the scene wearing a yellow towel. She’ll drop the towel with her back to us and put on some kind of garment and leave.

Which brings us to the next chapter, the 10th. Rio is in bed, there’s a length of red rope. Her hands are tied to connect them but someone else handles the other end of the rope. Nothing seems to be happening. Rio is on her back. In fact it was difficult to even find a suitable shot to illustrate this chapter.

When out of nowhere (again) some drops of body lotion are dripped on to her chest. Hands appear and massage her chest briefly. Then she’s on her stomach when more lotion is dripped onto her butt. Again the hands appear to massage her butt. Rio is still as before, totally passive. More lotion is dripped onto her back and massaged in, including the side of her left boob. Fade out.

Eleven begins and we are just about 56 minutes in. Rio is now in a black bustier with panties, net stockings, and garters. We get some nice views of her buns. and her cleavage when the bustier is opened at the top. The pace of the music picks up and Rio is dancing, or at least swinging her hips. There’s an electric fan to create this strong indoor breeze.

Twelve begins at 1 hour and 40 seconds. Rio is dressed as a school girl. Plaid skirt, white blouse, tie, and  knee socks. After a minute or so of jumping so we can see under her skirt…

Rio takes off the tie, and opens her white shirt. I should have known better by now, but again they catch me by surprise. This time, white plastic hands at the end of poles with a pointing figure appear to poke and prod Rio’s boobs and then her buns.

The song ends and, and the pointing fingers go away. Now, and this time I’m not surprised, a gooey gel is poured by unseen hands into Rio’s cleavage and then on her butt. Rio does her own massaging this time.

What is interesting is that Rio appears to be on some sort of deck over water. It is covered and we can see that it is raining. Rio will turn away from us and tug down the back of her panties, showing the top of the cleavage created by her butt cheeks. And then, right on schedule, more gooey gel is poured. Fade out.

It is now 67 minutes in and we get the credits. The obligatory I-One tee shirt signing is next, then the bonus chapter which looks like outtakes, behind the scenes, and some conversations between Rio and the director and a lady producer who remain off camera. This runs about three minutes and change, so the video clocks in at about 70 minutes.

Summary: Really nothing special about this video. Rio has the body and shape that will keep her employed as a gravure idol for the foreseeable future, and we do see plenty of her body.

But this DVD was kind of lifeless, and for the most part Rio did not show us a lot of smiles, happiness, or joy, nor did it seem like she was having fun. It seemed mostly like it was a day at the office rather than having a great time at a tropical resort.

I’m tired of the JWB Resort’s heavy ornate furniture, and it’s gilded and carved doorways. The unexpected hands, prods, pointers, gooey gels, dripping water, lotions, and what-not became the norm, appearing in almost every scene.

Mostly I missed Rio enjoying herself. The consequence is that you won’t enjoy yourself as much as you would hope to when watching curvy Rio on screen. Three point zero. Recommended for die-hard Rio fans only. To I-One’s staff, I can only say, this was quite disappointing.
