The Skinny: Miho Takai has a nice body, a cute smile, and not much experience as a video bikini model. This DVD appears to be a homegrown video meaning they didn’t fly off to some tropical island resort. It was made in Japan. While you will appreciate Miho’s curves, there’s not much in the way of positives to this video.
There’s a very brief montage – only 1:23, then a brief segment called Off-shot where Miho introduces herself.
The opening is set at an indoor swimming pool. Miho jogs into view, approaches us, and then sort of remains in place while continuing to hop up and down. The intended result is to have her large bust continue to be in a bouncing motion. It’s not really effective.
After some stretching exercises (also intended to show off her big boobs), Miho will enter the lovely pool. The rich blue color of the pool does make for a nice background.
She can swim and her hair does get wet. But it seems the bouncing is the main theme – up and down, up and down. At the scene’s close,
Miho is laying on her side, again the emphasis is on her bust.
Next it looks like we are outdoors. We can see a lot of mist in the air. But we aren’t. It’s sort of a large enclosed area. With lots of vegetation. You might think you’re in a jungle but you aren’t as you do catch a view of some of the supporting girders.
Miho poses quietly, in a small jacuzzi, or maybe I should say – she poses quietly while tugging on the straps of her bathing suit to draw her boobs together emphasizing the cleavage. There’s an occasional closeup of her breasts to change things up. The scene is slow paced.
Back upstairs in her hotel room, Miho poses in a pink bikini. Her hair is up. She’s posing in front of the floor to ceiling curtains. Again not a lot of variety. But then they ask her pump up an inflatable ball – to show off more cleavage naturally. When the ball is filled with air, she will sit on it and bounce. Then after what seems to be a long time – they have her bend over to deflate the ball.
Next up is Miho wrapped in a sheet while laying on a thin futon. The setting is a tatami room with the sliding shojo screen doors. Gradually the sheet is lowered so we can see that she is wearing a beige bikini beneath the sheet. Not much happens at all.
Miho plays ping-pong in the next brief chapter. Her costume starts with a jacket which reveals the bottom of her boobs and a matching short skirt. And beneath that is a red bikini. You won’t come away thinking that Miho is good at ping-pong, but you will give her credit for trying and showing off lots of cleavage.
A shower and bath scene follows. Miho wears a light green bikini. First she rinses off with a hand-held shower, then she climbs into a bath tub.
Some one else will hold the shower head and make sure Miho gets wet.
She will apply the soap herself, which is newsworthy as we see the soap come out of a bottle with a pump that Miho works as opposed to some gooey gel being dripped onto her from above.
But they fooled me, as eventually that is exactly what happens.
And towards the end of this chapter Miho will press against the glass of the shower stall.
The next segment has Miho wearing a top with a deeply scooped neckline. We don’t see much besides Miho as the background is mostly white. There’s a great amount of emphasis on her breasts – no surprise there as this has been what we have been watching for the entire video. The white background is actually the white light streaming into the room combined with the white sheets of the bed.
The last eight minutes plus of the video is an interview. A series of text questions appear on the screen. Miho, wearing an orange bikini is jogging as she answers. The problem is that she is jogging over the same 25 meters of ground over and over. It is sort of a parking area behind a number of houses. You will see the same hot water tanks behind the same houses again and againr. In short they don’t go anywhere, but they change the position of the camera. Eight minutes of slow jogging over the same area repeated for nearly twenty some questions is kind of boring.
Summary: Miho Takai is quite busty. She’s also quite cute. But this video lacks imagination. It is as if Miho was told that her boobs were going to be the star attraction of the video. They ask very little of her. To her credit, she smiles most of the time.
I’m reminded of Rio Natsume’s 1st DVD – The Pure Smile DVD shot in Thailand in 2003. Miho displays much of the same characteristics as did Rio. Lots of bust and cleavage, lots of smiling, and for we viewers, a distinct impression that the model wasn’t to sure of what to do.
Still, with her stunning figure, Miho should get more work as a gravure model. We do hope to see more of her. My rating? I’ll give this one just a three point two five as the production was made relatively inexpensively, and the direction was pedestrian at best.

Thanks for the reviews!! I always intend to comment in more DVDs but to tell the true, never got much beyond “She’s hot” or “Nice!” so I keep that for myself, actually commenting scene be scene is surely a monumental task, so keep it up!
I was thinking this was going to get a 3.5, just like Chiri’s IV. But I guess the setting has something to do, like I commented before, not flying an idol somewhere kind of tell that the producers are not thrusting the profitability of the girl… which in turn, can demotivate the models (especially if they’re still young, Miri or Yoko can do DVDs with their eyes closed these days).
Still, I like Miho and I think she might escort Rui Kiriyama on her way to the leading her generation. Miss Takai has an unreal figure, and I bet she can only get better with time, if the producers don’t want to fly models to some expensive place, I would suggest them doing videos with 2 or more idols, that may “break the ice” and see the girls acting more natural… and if some rivalry kicks in… girls trying to upstage each other could lead to some interesting videos!!
Going off topic with Rui… she has a movie (or direct to video) coming up in August!! It seems to be pretty raunchy so I dunno if it is a real movie or just a way to get her to do more fan service but anyways, ja.wiki now calls her “actress and gravure idol”, so probably is a good career move for her… hopefully not that good that has her quitting gravure for an acting career… hehehe

Yeah I like Miho Takai too. This DVD was made by a smaller/newer production house. Maybe they don’t have the money to spend on a newcomer that doesn’t have a large following yet. Flying a crew off to Saipan, Guam, Phuket, Bali etc is fairly expensive.
Of course they don’t have to go anywhere – they could make a great video at home. It’s just that this video isn’t great, or even near great.
A model’s figure can raise the rating of a video, but sometimes despite a nice body you have to give a lower rating.
The closing interview – jogging over and over in the same place. No doubt the cameraguy was along side her. They could have mounted the camera on the back of truck or van and made all that jogging interesting. But they didn’t. And it wouldn’t have cost much to do so.
Sorry, we hope Miho Takai will soon get work from Takeshobo, I-One, Air Control, Saibunkan, and E-Net. Then she’ll be able to show off her great figure. Here we see her figure, but the video just isn’t that good.
Who knows , maybe the model’s agency owed a favor to these guys. So she made a video for them.
Let’s see what happens after this…
