The Skinny: She’s tall and leggy, slender, has a cute smile, and this is her 7th DVD since January of 2008. Up to now, I hadn’t really taken much notice of her, but with this review, we can no longer say that.
The montage looks great but sounds awful. The music track beneath the montage is far too uptempo. In fact, it is very annoying. But at just two and a half minutes, you have no choice but to sit through it. And you do come out okay on the far end of it.
After the montage the main chapters begin. Mayu wears a bra and panties as she gazes out of the hotel windows. There’s curtains and behind them is a French double glass door that she opens briefly. She’ll leave the windows and walk towards a futon. For almost all of the scene the camera is in motion. Not too quickly but it is never still. And the editing seems off. Just when you’re about to say nice shot, there’s an edit and you get a new angle.
Next up is Mayu standing in front of the hotel’s health spa. She wears a red bikini trimmed with black and white bows. It’s a very attractive outfit. The camera does its swirl once again. And it is again annoying, but this timeMayu is outgoing instead of straight-faced. There’s lots of smiles to warm your heart and to upgrade the feeling of this chapter. Even though there’s a light falling, Mayu has an umbrella so she can get up and walk around.
A soapsuds bath is next. The jazzy music track moves us along. Mayu smiles sweetly and lifts her legs repeatedly. Though the lighting is perfect and the pacing is nice, this scene is a little too long considering how little motion there is. But I will give Mayu strong points for her ability to engage the viewers in this scene.
A great beach scene follow. The sky is partially cloudy but Mayu wears a beautiful bikini. The sea looks very tempting but Mayu is not going to swim in the sea today. In fact she won’t even get a toe wet.
In the next chapter we find Mayu in a silver bikini. She walks up a series of flights of steps with us trailing behind her. On the roof there’s a wooden frame work overhead. Maybe this was a roof-top terrace in season, but there’s no canvas present at this time. We are about three or four stories up from the ground, but they chose not to make much of the view.
We are now at the half-way point. Mayu next appears in a bar. There’s a pool table, a drink on the bar, and after one break shot, Mayu is up on the pool table posing. There’s not much activity other than Mayu posing on the pool table.
Next we have an anatomy lesson. Mayu wears a bikini, she’s seated on a love seat. She’s got a pink magic marker and a notepad. One by one, Mayu announces that she will write the name of a body part on her notepad. So we got close-ups of her eyes, lips, neck, bust, waist, ass, hands, and feet. And that was about all. 10 minutes wasted in my opinion.
Back on the beach is next. There’s a strong breeze, and we do hear the sound of the surf colliding with the beach. Mayu sits and/or stands on some rocks near the sea. The camera swirls about her. This last just three minutes.
Before you know it, we are in Mayu’s bedroom. She’s wearing a short nightie over a silk and satin, pink with white lace and black straps, bra and panties set, and she also has a length of a gauzy material to wrap herself in. Eventually she removes the short nightie and the posing continues. It doesn’t quite get to the level of a seduction, and so, we have to settle for cute and smiley.
The main chapters end with about two minutes of a teary-eyed Mayu struggling not to have a full outburst of crying. She does say something but I couldn’t quite understand it. End. Roll credits.
The last eight minutes are behind the scenes. Mayu speaks to the director (and us) as herself not as ‘in character’. She’s very cute and appealing in this segment including laughing and smiling a lot. They seems to be getting along nicely and it is my opinion that Mayu is a terrific looking girl. She’s at ease and is refreshing and lively out of character.
Summary: It’s an okay DVD. Nothing special visually and not particularly creative or interesting. I’ll rate the video at three point two five and close the review with the fact that I’d like to see more of her, which means I’ll try to get an earlier DVD from her portfolio. Which means that I definitely think the model is better than we’ve seen of her in this DVD.

She is definitely cute but something about her teeth that makes me cringe when she smiles. By the way, would you know what SWINUTION might mean or translate to?

I really don’t what Swinution means. In fact, Dictionary.com doesn’t have a listing for it.
But if I have to venture a guess, I’d say that is a name of a Gravure Series. Like I-One from Line Communications, or Pure Smile from Takeshobo, or Splash Girls from Aqua House.
According to DMM.com (if you use the Google translation feature) there are a number of gravure DVDs in the series with other models like Anna Nakagawa and Mayuko Kasei all with Swinution on the cover. Plus others.

You know, in some pics her face looks like Nonamin in her early days in this bussines (specially in those with her mouth shut or where she’s serious).
Of course, she’s taller and slim but still a beauty.

I remember Takizawa in a very early DVD – called Pure Smile. She was somewhat , sorry – alot slimmer in those days. Didn’t much care for her. Now I really adore her.
But I don’t see the similarity between Mayu and Nonami.

Call it the power of suggestion, but I do see a bit of similarity… maybe the hair-cut and the shield shaped face… lol.
Early Nonami didn’t do much for me either… but she gained her way into my favorites idols when she was about 20 or so… now I can watch that Pure Smile video and feel that those first 4 minutes are the greatest intro a gravure idol has ever seen!!! (love the music that goes from chimes and bells to guitar solos… kinda remind me of Sonic the Hedgehog :p)

I forgot to comment that Rui Kiriyama also looks a bit as the early Nonami… btw, Rui’s DVD is coming up on the 20th, not the 29th as stated in the coming attractions.
