The Skinny: Another in the excellent Beach Angel series. This time we have the busty and very cute Mai Nishida off to El Nido in the Philippines. Folks, this is as good as it gets as a resort. And almost as good as it gets for a gravure video.
This DVD was artfully done. The shot composition, the beautiful and lush tropical locations, and the music were all blended together in a way that’s, well, incredible.
As for the lush and lovely Mai Nishida, I’m torn. I can’t decide. You see, she seems to be on both sides of the street. On the one side she’s demure. And on the other side, she seems to be promising unbelievable carnal delights. We’ll call that side of the street Allure.
So how can you be prim and proper and be a poster person for demure, while simultaneously creating a gnawing feeling in men that borders on lust.

The reality is that one can’t be both at least at one time. I think of Mai Nishida as a full bodied, living, breathing human metronome. She’s alluring, no, she’s demure, but isn’t that allure. Wait a minute that’s flat out demure.

Yeah, she’s like the metronome but only without the uniformity and constancy. She swings in a huge arc from one side to the other but the timing is off. It’s irregular.

Mai Nishida is anything but irregular. Yes, she’s curved rather than linear. But her smile is sweet, and she’s a happy girl – why shouldn’t she be happy – she’s getting paid to look pretty and sexy at a world class resort plus all expenses paid.

She has great stage presence in that a guy, handling a big camera, has the lens trained on various parts of her for rather longish moments. He then will sweep or pan along the various segments ultimately reaching his destination which is her face.

She then has to pretend not to notice the camera as she’s presumably lost in her own thoughts looking so very demure. Or she has to radiate with one of those high-wattage smiles. Or even better, a low-level hint of smile, that slowly opens to a bigger smile which might mean – like boy, we are going have some fun tonight – but Mr. you have no idea what in store for you.
Yes, Mai is betwixt and between. But we viewers we are already past the half-way there point. We are on the beach at El Nido. We hear the endlessly perfect song of the sea as it washes ashore. The sunset is remarkable. And this woman…this woman…this woman.
Summary: You see, I can’t even end a paragraph properly as thoughts of Mai Nishida play havoc with my synapses that are struggling to complete the processes. I’m stuck on my own endlessly swinging metronome. Not the one that Mai is on. This is my own. I’m destined to cross paths again and again with her. But never will we be stopped at the same intersection at the same time. We will continue to pass each other without end, except if you press pause on your DVD Player.
You too will find yourselves struggling with this bit of mental gymnastics after watching Mai for the oh-so-brief 46+ minutes of the main chapters and the additional 10 minutes that follow. But be sure of this. With a four point seven five rating – watching this DVD – it can be just one thing and it’s all good.
PS: This video is being offered in both Blu-Ray and standard DVD formats.
