The Skinny: Hitomi is fresh off a series of JAV’s where we watched her atop, beneath, or between various men. So it is a nice change of pace for those of us who desired to see Hitomi back in a solo mode, free from any and all inter-personal couplings both willing and unwilling.
Rebecca is a new name to me as a production entity, and this DVD is only their third, if I am interpreting the catalog number correctly. This is not worth much as a statement, but it can and does tell you that I’ve no idea along with no experience to know what I might expect of a Rebecca product.
But for a Hitomi product we do have experience and a number of videos in which she starred as a basis. This 73 minute DVD of Hitomi and her dual very personal co-stars, has been eagerly awaited by me and my fellow gravure brethren. So I had high expectations for the video.
But I’m sorry to say, expectations have NOT been met (cue audio of screeching tires, collision impact, and the continued sounds of an automobile’s horn that is stuck in non-stop blare mode.) This is the audio equivalent of me typing – the video crashed and burned!
The first thing we see are a pair of exotic fish in separate glass containers. All they can do is ogle each other. No doubt we as viewers are in the same position
A curtain parts, and Hitomi steps into view. We are in quite close. She wears a tee shirt, pink shorts, and pale blue stockings. When the camera pulls back far enough you can see that the legend on the tee-shirt reads HOPE.
For the next 11 minutes, Hitomi swings her hips, smiles, and ultimately raises the tee shirt to reveal her massive boobs in a bikini top, and lowers her shorts before taking them off and swinging them over her head.
The lighting is horrid. Just look at the enormous white blotches on her face. And we never do see her whole figure in one shot. Truly, this scene is the same as if you stood two feet in front of Hitomi who was posing in front of your living-room drapes, and you never backed up enough to show all of her figure even once. And this was the first 11 minutes of the video, less the 30 seconds of the two fish eyeing each other. These guys never heard of a montage.
Fade out and fade in to Hitomi in a busines suit and white blouse climbing on to a bed. Twelve minutes later we can present some good news and some good news.
The first of the good news is that via the 2nd chapter, this DVD has journeyed far from the familiar precincts and gentility of gravure. Her business suit, blouse, bra and panties all leave our field of vision. And once a bare breast comes into view, we all can say sayonara to the term gravure.
The second bit of good news is that Hitomi has forsaken her clothing for the purpose of involving herself with the solidity of a lucite tubular object, an obvious homage to an erect penis. The big plus is that this is not a swinging dick attached to any real life male person. No, this is a big, everhard, and always up to the task, sex-toy.
Hitomi engages in handjob, blowjob, and paizuri, which is the Japanese word for tit-fuck with this object, as well as a round of heavy breathed humping. And after depositing a mouthful of something on Mr. Lucky Lucite, Hitomi receeds away, and the scene ends.
So tallying up the comments – so far we have one bad, bad scene, and one very good scene. What’s next?
We are back to the drapes we saw at the beginning and we have a continuation of the first scene. Hitomi still has the tee shirt tugged above her boobs so she can handle them. But she will take off the tee shirt. The camera movements are erratic. We are still way too close to Hitomi, and the lighting still sucks. Fortunately this session is only 3 minutes.
We next join Hitomi in bed. She’s under the sheets but she graciously allows the camera in to peek at her panties, and matching top. We are in very close, and I for one distinctly feel like that red fish we saw at the outset. Able to look but touching is impossible.
Hitomi says, Nani? which is the same as What? The response is in script across the screen. After a few more minutes of this ‘dialogue’ we get to find out what the topic was.
Mr Lucky Lucite has again appeared. And he’s going to be used by Hitomi for more auto-erotic self pleasuring of Hitomi by Hitomi and no else is present. As this begins, please remember we are still beneath the sheet.
The sheet does get tossed away, and this 2nd round of bare boobed, sex-toy activity runs about 14 minutes. While Mr. Lucky spends most of the time between Hitomi’s legs, we see no evidence of pubic hair, and what’s more, there’s no insertion either. Fade out.
We are back to the same curtain and same location that we’ve already seen twice before. This time Hitomi will hoist her massive breasts out of the bikini top. This bit of wiggle and jiggle is still bedeviled by the horrid lighting. Again this is a somewhat of a short segment.
So that means we are due for another ‘important’ chapter rather than a continuation of this transitional filler. We join Hitomi in a bathroom. She wears a green frilly top and matching panties over a bold yellow bikini.
Our perspective for most of this chapter is a failed notion that we viewers would enjoy ‘peeking’ at Hitomi from a concealed location like from inside a bathroom closet. So we have this framing effect for far too long.
Hitomi discards the outer greens and gets to work on fondling herself, top and bottom with the yellow bikini on. Soon her boobs are out of the bikini top, and her bikini panties are lowered. She coats herself in a clear, gooey, gel.
Hitomi moans and groans as she wanks away. We do eventually get some zoomed in shots so the framing of the doorway vanishes.
At the 55 minutes mark, the lighting brightens the scene, but only briefly before returning to the darker image we had earlier.
By 56 minutes, Hitomi has managed to get where she was headed on her solo sexual trip. She’s finished. The camera backs up a bit, re-establishing the doorway frame effect.
Hitomi stands, keeps her hand covering her privates, walks toward us and closes the door. Fade out.
17 minutes remain. Hitomi and other members of the production crew leave the house for a trip in the rented van. A few moments later we see that the van has been stopped by a Balinese traffic cop. But soon the rolling tour continues.
Hitomi is wearing an ugly zippered sweater or sweat shirt over a tee shirt. A few innocuous minutes of shopping, then we’re in a restaurant for lunch. Evidently wanking has made Hitomi hungry. So its cheeseburgers all around. But we do get to see a playful and happy Hitomi. Check her out intentionally crossing her eyes,
then laughing about it as if ‘silly’ is a part of her all the time.
More shopping. Then we are back in the van where Hitomi shows off her extensive purchases including lots of Bali Coffee and other gifts for the gang back home in Japan.
When you watch this, Hitomi looks like any other young woman on a vacation, happily showing off all of what she has bought on a shopping excursion. She’s happy, lively, and seems like a fun person. And most likely this is how she really is in real life, when she’s not fucking for yen on screen.
With six minutes left, we are back to where we started this visual adventure. The same drapes, the same shoddy lighting only this time, the bikini top has finally been removed, as well as the bikini panties. Hitomi continues to swivel her hips, fondle and flaunt her huge bust, which of course is ruined by the bad lighting as you can see right below, and smile as we hit the final fade out before the credits roll.
Summary; Right off I’ll come out and say no more than a three point zero, and that’s being very generous. They went to Bali, but shot all but the shopping and cheeseburgers indoors. They could have done all of the rest in a Roppongi or Ginza hotel right at home in Tokyo, and saved the airfare.
About 40% of the video consists of shopping, restaurant, and an oft-repeated wiggle and jiggle scene that was both hideous and amateurish in it’s execution.
Of the three main chapters: bedroom sex with Mr. Lucite, under the sheets with Mr. Lucite, and the voyeuristic bathroom wank session – we can say that these were well done.
But it is hard to recommend a video that is half-good and half bad. So I won’t. So sexy Hitomi – please do a true gravure video for one of the main production houses that specialize in that genre. That will sell VERY WELL. I really doubt that this video will do well.

My favorite scenes in Hitomi’s older gravure videos were were breasts getting fondled, and those are my favorite scenes in her hardcore videos too.

Actually, this DVD has a 16:9 aspect, so you might want to edit that. Given that I have a widescreen TV, I wish more idol stars would have their DVD made in that format. (Nonami Takizawa DVDs seems to be generally 16:9 releases, which is appreciated.)
I was JUST too late to cancel the order, so the DVD arrived. It wasn’t all that bad, though, so it’s not a big regret of mine. (Which is to say it wasn’t the same kind of crushing disappointment that was Premium Cutie 2 with its ugly, ugly blow-up doll.) I had some worries about the whole sex-toy thing that fortunately proved to be irrelevant. I’d still prefer less of that and more of the average fondling/massage thing in a DVD like this.
Also, given that it’s a DVD with nudity, it should not come as a surprise that they’re spending most of the time inside. That does lend weight to your “they might just as well have stayed in Japan” argument.
