The Skinny: Mai Baby indeed. We are greeted with a fairly ‘hot’ montage. Mai Nishida looks like she’s a quite a package. But then, the first of the main chapters starts and we are looking at Mai as a student – according to cdjapan, Mai will turn 20 in a little more than a month.

She then proceeds to disrobe down to a white bikini beneath her uniform.

Fear not, the Bali beach and Mai in a red bikini is next. The weather is lousy as you can barely see the ocean. Morning mist I guess. But Mai looks very good in red.

Apres-beach, Mai needs a shower. Some one with a long tooth brush adds tooth paste or soap to Mai’s bust. She dutifully thanks him, Arigato. Then she asks us to wait, Chotto, as she’s not dressed. She covers her bra and panties by wrapping herself in a big towel. Then removes the bra from beneath the towel. Then she covers the towel with a very skimpy sundress before removing the towel from beneath the sundress. Got all that?

Next scene she models in the sundress on the deck.

This before she heads outdoors to pump up a rubber float with a foot pump. Scintillating? Not. In a change of direction, she brings the inflated object back indoors. She then lies on this object which is on a wooden floor, and she simulates swimming. I’m not sure what they were going for. But I’m not the director, am I? In any even, we’ll skip the images for that segment. Okay, maybe just one of the bikini.

After that time waster, in the same bikini, we find Mai out by the pool. But only for a few moments before she’s back on the same deck that she had just left to go the pool moments before. Got all that? Mr. Director and Mr. Editor: Can you spell continuity?

Time sure flies when you’re having fun. Somehow it becomes the next morning and we awaken Ms Nishida. She’s wearing more now in bed than she wore since after the beach and the deck, and the pool, and the deck again. Go figure. Fear not. Beneath the granny-style nightgown, there’s a bikini.

This video has no end to the surprises. Mai shows up on the beach next. The sky has improved somewhat. Mai offers to give us a massage! What will they think of next? But soon a lady masseuse is behind Mai gently making Mai’s boobs jiggle. And that’s not all.

Soon the lady masseuse will be making Mai’s boobs jiggle from in front. Later Mai just poses by pressing her boobs around the beach umbrella’s pole.

Car-wash time next. Mai calls us over to the kuruma (car) as she’s about wash it. She should never have relinquished the water hose. Or from our perspective, aren’t we glad she did. Her dry tee-shirt soon becomes a wet tee shirt, so off it goes. Mai is wearing some sort of very small bikini top.

You do know what comes next right? We (the camera) are now inside the car watching Mai jiggle as she does the kuruma’s windows.

Later we are back on the deck. This is the second-story deck. Mai wears a hooded sweat shirt that is also backless, sideless, and unzippered down below her breasts. Eventually we break out the ice popsicle for her. Arigato she says. Fortunately they decided not to go very far down this path. For once, the popsicle was just a popsicle.

Later, and after a change of costume, we are back on the 1st floor sun deck. Mai wears a yellow-cut-off tee shirt. It’s time for a beach-ball. Only Mai has to pump it up herself. Once she’s seated on the inflated beach ball, they lower the camera down to floor level. All the better to get a look under the cut-off tee shirt.

Next we have the tried and true model-as-nurse sequence. A stethoscope and a thermometer are the props. Soon Mai is down to a bikini and stethoscope. Ok breathe please and that’s when we find out that Mai was just a nurse, the bikini was a day-dream.

Whoa – time for another shower. Mai isn’t given much to wear in this scene. This is a standard Balinese bath scene meaning lots of sunshine (it’s roofless), lots of plants (half of the bathroom is outdoors. There’s even a garden pool with lily pads and a small waterfall and all of this is still in the bathroom. Oh yeah, lots of cleavage too. They also manage to sneak in some very unobtrusive credits as this scene plays.A Fabulous (with a capital F) last chapter. In fact so good, we’ll run the rest of the review with images from this scene.

The best weather of the whole DVD is next. Unfortunately this is the I-One tee-shirt signing sequence. So it goes for about half a minute. The behind the scenes comes next. We get more of the massage that we saw earlier. Mai and the masseuse exchange comments. Kimochi Nei! Hey it feels good. And now we get to see Mai in the pool with the inflated tube that we didn’t see earlier. And in the absolute closing Mai thanks the crew for their hard work (Otsukaresimas-deshita).

Summary: While this DVD has some obvious flaws and directions to places that I don’t want or need to go to, I must say that Mai is really an eyeful. She’s not only cute, and nice to look at, but her figure is outstanding. While she may not look like Rio Natsume, maybe her future will turn out to be as successful. Okay, maybe not that successful. But we do look forward to the next few years. Hopefully Mai will put on a few pounds, and gain a few inches in the right places. Take note – she doesn’t need to – I’m not even faintly suggesting that she’s thin.
