The Skinny: Mikie Hara continues to turn out wonderful DVD’s. She has those certain qualities that you look for like beauty, high spirits, and a sense of humor. Oh yeah, she has a beautiful body as well. These translate on screen to a very enjoyable viewing experience.

The Beach Angels Series has long been a brand name known for quality entertainment. Compared with Takeshobo’s Pure Smile line, or Line Communications I-One Series, they put out far fewer titles, than either of those. But they give you unsurpassed quality.

Mikie’s sojourn halfway across the Pacific to spectacular Maui in Hawaii was a bit long for the Japanese Gravure models. They do come to Hawaii, but not as often as you might think. Given the expense of flying that far, and staying at the Westin Maui Resort and Spa at Ka’anapali, you’d have thought they’d come home with more than 43 minutes of footage.

But maybe the weather wasn’t all the great when they were there; check the ominous dark cloud in the above image.

As it is, there were at least 3 different interview clips inserted into the video which certainly reduced the number of action minutes. So much for the downside.

When watching the delightful Mikie, it’s all upside. We get Mikie in bed,

on a bike,

and on the beach.

We see her snorkeling,

or taking a bath

or maybe just enjoying the sights while on a trolley.

They have her doing glamor posing by the pool at night,

or with a sunset as background.

She might be fooling around or relaxing on the sand,

or just waking up and brushing her teeth.

Given the shortness of this DVD, I’m not going to go in length about how great she looks, or how curvy her figure is. But I will say that there’s lot of scenes, so you get a great mix. Now, I can just rely on these sparkling images to do the work for me.

Summary: I like what I watched. I was impressed by the use of the long, telephoto zoom lens which tends to give nice detail of the subject but loses the depth of field. The music was nicely chosen, and there was ample variety AND short scenes. All in all a very nice video. But, I am going to penalize them for just giving us just 43 minutes, and the multiple interview segments. For a goddess like Mike, we’d really like to see a bit more of her.

Nevertheless, watching Mikie Hara is always worth your time. Recommended but the score is three point seven five. By the way, this DVD is also available in a Blue-Ray version, if you care to layout about 40 % more.
