The Skinny:  Miho Ishii’s DVD Intelligence was released about 3 months ago. I liked her immediately. They call this one Intelligence, and it is a bit more than your basic beach babe gravure idol DVD. First of all it was shot on a small island called Iejima, which is near Okinawa, but is much smaller. And second, there’s not any of that Idol silliness that you often see.

Miho is a beautiful woman. Great body, With above average height she’s taller than most of her fellow idols. She’s graceful, and her movements convey that she’s not quite quite comfortable at being admired by a cameraman. You know it’s not that easy.

Picture this – some one will pay you good money to strip down to your underwear. Or trot around in a bikini. Or have a camera up close as you shower. The camera focuses on your breasts, your tail, your privates which are barely covered by these skimpy panties.

And one more thing, smile and look happy. Does your conservative or traditional upbringing get in the way? And one more thing – the competition to get this job is enormous.

Miho probably had to be convinced or talked into it. First to get her to go to an agency who would send her out to audition for the video production houses. You know how that went.

Ohayo gozaimas Ishii-san. Good morning Ms Ishii. First time? Who is your agent please? Thank you. Nice head shots – okay, let’s see how you look in your bra and panties. Ima des ka? Now? Hai. Yes. Ima. Now. Right here please. Moments later. Thank you! We’ll call you. Please ask the next girl to come in.

And when she passes through the waiting room – there must be thirty or more girls waiting. That’s probably how it usually goes.

Let’s try it again. After a number of these cattle call rejections, Miho hears a tune on the radio. She musters up her courage to get through it again. She brings the tune with her to played during her audition. This time she wants that call back more than ever. Shortly afterwards she’s on her way to Iejima to be Trico’s newest model.

Is that how it went? I can’t say for certain. But Trico did hire her. We are looking at these images from her video, so we know it happened. She’s even done a photo-book too. The song is in the DVD. Here’s the song’s lyrics:

Summary: Good luck Miho! I think you are going to be a great Idol. We hope to see you again. Loved your DVD. Four point zero out of five for your first release is a fine score.

No sooner do I publish a review of her first DVD then I become aware that her 2nd will be released the next day 12-19-08. Just in time for Xmas shopping. It is called New Kiss and is produced by Spice Visual. Here is the cover.
