The Skinny: Wow! Takako Yamada was born in 1971 making her 37 years old. And my, my – doesn’t she fill out the screen nicely? She has womanly curves that most 18-21 year old women can only dream of. I can’t say that Takako is on the way to stardom at this point of her career, nor can I say that she’s making a great comeback. What I will say is that’s she been making Idol Videos for a while and her excellent experience shows. What ever her formula is, this video adds up to a success.
Well to guess at the formula, or should I say the components – let’s see:
Exclusively Indoors – there’s no beach, pools, restaurants, or malls.
Soft lighting – very well done, and gentle on the eyes.
bikinis – just a few but look how the detail shows up in these shots.
one piece bathing suit – your basic zippered front in a rich blue.
Shower – and a bathtub.
kimono – on and off.
office lady complete with glasses – the one failed scene in the DVD.
uncluttered sets – sometimes just a wall, or an empty room.
slow pacing – the director and editor take their time. Nothing is hurried. Slow fades and transitions.
limited movements – no jogging and no extraneous motion.
On top of all of that, Takako doesn’t speak until the last scene, the music was excellent and completely matched the style or pace of the scene, and there wasn’t any filler, cooking, shopping, or interviews.
Summary: I know I didn’t put a lot of words into this review, and that’s just what the director did for us in the video. The fact of the measured editing, and the complete lack of filler, means that we didn’t need to fast forward. The only real clunker was the last scene where Takako reads something to us. Subtracting that scene would have given the video a higher score. But we can’t do that, so we’ll settle in at a favorable four point zero.

37 years old!!!???… you got to be kidding me… man, she’s impressive.
I’m very concerned about 40′s as the women’s best age but this is simply awesome, her body is, like you said, a dream for a lot of women around the world. What else can I say, I didn’t knew about her and let me tell you that she is a really nice surprise ^^.
Well (after this “shocking” moment), about the pics and your comments of them, I think she got a beautiful face and a killing body, the way she looks the camera is very natural and sexy at the same time.
Honestly, I could be talking a lot and that would be the same over and over again, better to resume everything by saying… “Thank you Mike, once again ^^”.
