The Skinny: Wow! Yoko in revealing outfits; stretching, limbering up, taking deep breaths. Must be great. Well, I’m not sure ‘great’ is the best word to describe this DVD. So let’s take a moment to clarify. Of course Yoko Matsugane is a great model. In this DVD she looks spectacular. The direction is also great with sparkling editing and pacing. There’s a veritable smorgasboard of varied angles and composition. And lastly the sets themselves are superbly lighted. So why isn’t it great?
The DVD has an overall grand design. Yoko takes Yoga instruction from her instructor named Keiko, whom we never see, but we do hear her throughout. The spoken language is of course Japanese. While Keiko puts Yoko through her paces, listening to this is less than scintillating.

Yoko will also become our instructor as she requests that we follow along and do what she’s doing. I’m not sure that she says this exactly, but it seems reasonable.
There are four Yoga sessions. Each requires either a change of location, or a change of Yoko’s outfit, or both. While
watching Yoko’s lithe figure work through the classic yoga positions has appeal - after all, she is dramatically beautiful - it lacks a dynamic.

Despite the director’s best effort, and he did a marvelous job, and despite the fluidity of Yoko’s movements, it just just doesn’t get your blood going.

But maybe they realized this; so to spark things up, there are four glamourous posing sessions comnpletely aside from the yoga. Here again, Yoko shines. Her sublime posing techniques not only change the tempo of the DVD, but they also will be very inspiring for the viewer.
She wears a pink crocheted sweater in a pink and white room decor in the 1st. A white bikini in a white and pale blue room in the second. Her 3rd costume is a bold yellow bikini as she struts her stuff in a sun room.
And finally, she wears a small black bikini in the shower. This scene also includes a mirror which creates a duplicate or mirrored image of Yoko in addition to the real article.

Summary. There’s no popint in working through the Yoga scenes. They are self-explanatory. If you don’t speak Japanese, you will be at a disadvantage, but the visuals are still striking and they do drive the scenes. Likewise, Yoko’s posing techniques are well known. She’s been in the gravure business since 2002, and I’ve seen virtually all of her work. Again the vidcaps that I’ve included are all you need. Like Rod Stewart once said in a song, …every picture tells a story.
So there’s no need to walk you through these sequences either. This DVD is a treat for the eyes. And if it doesn’t quite stir you intellectually, so be it. Four point five is the rating. If you are an ardent Yoko fan then doen’t miss it.
If you have not seen Yoko on screen before, then you might be better off starting with one of her more conventional gravure DVD’s. Web vendors for this DVD are below.
