The Skinny: The Fuko bandwagon rolls on. In about two weeks, Fuko will have released 11 DVD’s in the past 13 months. I take that to mean that the Japanese gravure producers have been lining up to hand over lots of yen which will reside in Fuko’s bank account. Not sure what the pay rate is for a gravure DVD but you have to add in the factor of a trip to a resort somewhere on top of the money.
In this DVD, Fuko is joined by Kanako Hosaka. Let’s see where and how they had their fun.
And it was fun for us viewers. While there was nothing new or different visually in terms of technique or subject matter, Fuko and Kanako seemed to have a wonderful time. I think the location was a Okinawa resort – a virtual home town vacation for Fuko and the weather was splendid. Not a hint of an overcast sky. Fuko seemed more exuberant than usual – maybe it was because her co-star, Kanako Hosaka, was a much smaller woman.
The routines were all of those that you’ve seen before in gravure videos like the girls jogging on the beach, showers, skipping rope, mini-trampolines, hula hoops, massages, and yes – the dreaded ice cream on a stick. Yes, there is some straight posing as well. Fuko never wears more than a bikini, and Kanako also wears bikini’s with a one-piece swimsuit thrown in for the ice-cream on a stick scene.
Speaking of which, I wonder how Kanako managed to get ice-cream on her butt?
Fuko, of course, is as you all know – supremely busty. That hasn’t changed at all. Now remember, this is not the Layfull Eight Series, for which Fuko appeared in three volumes. For-side has managed to get Fuko to handle her boobs more often than ever seen before in a non-Eight Series DVD, and she will often undo the knot of the straps that tie around her neck thereby adding an additional element of tease into the mix. Fuko will have to support the bra cups of the bikini with her own hands in order to stay covered.
Kanako and Fuko do massage each other. And in some of the beach scenes you can see Kanako’s hands being dwarfed by Fuko’s mighty boobs. But other than that, there’s no hint of any girl/girl sexual activity.
I am not inclined to write a scene by scene narrative of the DVD. The images can speak for themselves. But the flow of the scenes as well as the technical aspects like editing, light, pacing and such, were all well done. So it does manage to keep your interest to a degree. Fuko’s hooters are fine to look at, but everything she does in this DVD to showcase her bust; she’s done before and more importantly – we’ve seen before.
Summary: This one will end with a score of three point five.
Having Kanako on hand as someone for Fuko to interact with was a good idea. But Kanako looked much better in her solo DVD called Kana Pie.
She looks like she’s lost some weight in this DVD, and she added some waviness to her straight hair. Fuko is even more robust although it is hard to tell. Her imposing bust dominates the screen. I must say it was nice to hear Fuko’s laughter.
I am giving just the 3.5 not because the DVD was flawed, It was a straightforward standard gravure idol beach and bikini DVD accentuated by Fuko’s marvelously huge tits. I think she’s going to have to take the leap into doing full nudity or even hair nudity to maintain her fan base and sales structure.
There doesn’t seem to be much more she can do in the gravure genre and still attract buyers from the viewing public. If some deep pockets producer offers enough yen, Fuko will cast aside her top.
