The Skinny: Great model - satisfying yet disappointing DVD! Miyabi Isshiki hasn’t made 11 DVD’s like Fuko who was her co-star in Mix Juice. And so far, she hasn’t created the same kind of stir as has Hitomi Tanaka. But Miyabi is certainly a superstar in her own right as she has a gorgeous smile, huge boobs, and an overall beautiful figure.

It is hard to believe, but this is only the 3rd solo DVD for Miyabi, following the release of Mix Juice back in March of 2007. To the producers over at Takeshobo, Line Communications, E-Net Frontier, and Aqua House - What are you waiting for?

Okay, enough chatter - let’s have a look at the DVD. Certainly Boobs Beat delivers the boobs. That much is undisputed. But it looks like they never left town. In fact, aside from the two scenes which are set in a glass enclosed indoor swimming pool, they never even shot under the sunlight. This DVD is 100 percent indoors.

The DVD opens at the swimming pool. Miyabi, reclining on a blue tumbling mat by the poolside, wears a navy, white and pink mono-kini. Eventually she gets up on her knees making her lush bosom the focus of attention. It doesn’t hurt that she smiles so sweetly which is a definite plus when added to her astounding figure.

However, the scene takes a downturn when Miyabi produces a banana. She’ll run the banana into her cleavage, and she’ll perform some oral high-jinx with the banana before eating it. A model built like Miyabi doesn’t need a banana introduced into any scene. So in my view this was not only unnecessary but wrong.

Chapter Two starts with Miyabi in short shorts, sneakers, and a very tight tank top in white. She’ll spend some time on this blue sofa just looking sexy. Then they toss a balloon her way which she will bat back. Soon she’s donned some pink boxing gloves, and goes a few rounds with this inflatable punching bag. Then she’ll just do some light aerobics. The sole reason for this scene is to give us some views of her magnificent boobs in motion. And they succeed admirably.

Three opens with Miyabi wearing shiny pink bikini. Sitting on a sofa, she applies some lotion to her legs, arms, and of course, to her bust. They’ll spend much time focused on her amazing chest as she rubs the lotion in, caresses her boobs, makes them jiggle and sway, all for our amusement.

Wanna meet Miyabi in the bedroom? You can in the next chapter. Wearing a red dress with a frilly white slip beneath, this scene is more of a homage to Miyabi’s ass, rather than her boobs. It’s not that her chest is ignored - that would be impossible, it’s just not the main focus of this scene.

 

Towards the end, she will get her hands under the tight fitting top of the dress to caress her own boobs.

The ‘black’ scene follows. Black leather couch, black fish net top over a black bandeau top, black thong panties, and black high heeled shoes. Throughout the scene, Miyabi first bounces gently on a large ball positioned in front of the sofa. Then unexpectedly, a small pair of hands from in front of Miyabi, begins to caress her breasts. Miyabi never breaks eye contact with us while this is happening. Then the hands are from behind Miyabi, and they lift and caress Miyabi’s bust. The owner of the hands is never revealed. Miyabi closes the scene by being up on her knees, facing away from us for the ritual presentation of her butt.

A balloon scene is next. Miyabi wears a revealing blue and white bikini that looks like it was made with the same sort of material as you would make a shaggy bath mat. Have a look (above).

The balloons are really a distraction as they take away Miyabi’s ability to make eye-contact with us viewers as she must watch the balloons as they sail into view. There’s some nice boob jiggling as she bounces on another inflatable.

However, once you stop watching the balloons, you will enjoy watching Miyabi’s body in motion.

A polka dot bikini scene is next. Miyabi doesn’t do much besides squeeze her boobs together with her arms, or pose on a bed. The scene does show off how beautiful Miyabi really is, but it was far too slow moving.

Miyabi hits the pool next. She sports a bold orange bikini. I think the camera man was at a loss for footing as the camera work is kind of shaky. When the camera is below the surface, Miyabi’s boobs are near the top of the shot and mostly out of the view. When the camera is on the surface, Miyabi is in the deep end of the pool, and except for brief instances, her boobs are more often than not below the surface. In short, this scene was poorly executed.

The bath-tub scene closes out the DVD. Other than a slide show, there are no extra or bonus scenes. Meanwhile in the bath, Miyabi looks sexy, as always. Her breasts are the focus if attention, and why not? There are many great closeups of Miyabi’s face and her magnificent tits. The gooey soapy gel is poured into her cleavage. Here the underwater transitions from below the surface to above the surface worked fine. Of course this was a bath-tub not a swimming pool. Then for some unknown reason, Miyabi has another banana to close out the scene and the DVD.

Summary: Hitomi Tanaka and Yoko Matsugane have nothing on Miyabi Isshiki. She can more than hold her own against these two in terms of boob size. Only Fuko surpasses in that category. My thoughts are that this is a superb woman to watch. She’s got a great smile and beauty besides her stunning body. The DVD suffers from its all-indoors format, and the pacing was slow throughout. Even when Miyabi had to do something it seemed as if it was in slow motion.

I eagerly await one of the big outfits to sign Miyabi and whisk her off to to a tropical setting. I’d pay money to see that. But while we wait for that to happen, despite the obvious problems, I’ll recommend this DVD as a must-buy, to any gravure idol fan. And yes, I’ll call it disappointing while recommending it. Seems like they could have done so much more. Four point zero is the score.
