The Skinny: Busty Nonami Takizawa and the crew from For-side/Cutie are off to Australia. They settle in at Cairns for an opportunity to shoot a lot of footage of Nonami. You won’t have to look up air fares with Qantas to get there. Just get yourself a copy of Dear, and you’ll enjoy a visual feast of the sight and sounds of our idol having a great time.
After a rather lackluster opening, Nonami greets us on the beach, runs awkwardly for about 5 steps, then wiggles her booty before returning to us to offer some greeting or encouragement.
Immediately following this, we again meet Nonami on the same beach. She wears a white knit hat, a white sun dress with yellow trim, and beneath that a bikini.
She takes off her hat, shoes, and dress, and without so much as a word, she walks into the sea. Comes out of the water, looks morose, gathers her things and leaves. Not exactly scintillating.
She shows up at the hotel pool in the next scene. She’s wearing big-framed sun glasses, and you don’t see much of this in bikini idol DVDs. She climbs backward down the steps into the pool. The camera zooms in close, right up to the sunglasses.
There’s a cut, and we see her in the same sunglasses only now she’s in the jacuzzi. She seems to like the warm and powerful water jets provided by the jacuzzi. Finally, she smiles, says a few words and turns away. Fade out. That’s yet another scene without much substance. Maybe the Japanese speaking readers will chime in to tell us what she said.
However the tide changes in the next scene. We are greeted at the door, then admitted to Nonami’s hotel room. Looks like she’s expecting us. She will immediately climb onto the bed, and work through a series of electric poses. We are made very aware of how busty she is. In fact, I will upgrade my description of her boobs from large or big to HUGE on the basis of this scene.
There’s a definite sexual connotation to this scene and that follows up on the open arms invitations and kisses that come our way. We have Nonami bouncing above us, and we have Nonami jiggling her breasts while below us.
The success of this scene is due to three things, Nonami’s playful nature, the pacing, and the wonderful eye contact she makes with us throughout the entire scene.
Next we have a day-trip to waterfall park. We are placed in the position of being Nonami’s date. More kisses are shared. She’s wearing cut-off jeans and a bikini. We follow her up a series of stairs, and through some jungle. Then more stairs, and even more stairs. You’ll get a good view of Nonami’s powerful calf muscles.
At the top of the tower she will take off the cut-off jeans. I think she leaves them at the top, because as we walk back down, they’re nowhere to be seen. This is another scene where the grand Nonami bosom gets plenty of display time.
Back at the apartment – Nonami poses for us in a kitchen. She’s not about to cook anything. She ends up on the counter top of the kitchen’s island work space, and then with her feet in the kitchen sink.
They play this out for atmosphere and mood, as no words are spoken. Ultimately she will remove the the blue net top to reveal her bikini bra encased breasts. Amen.
A Bath tub scene follows. It’s not much of scene beginning with the model just sitting in the water. The we see her in the ub with far too many soaps suds. She takes off the bikini top and displays it in her hand.
The turns away as she rises to reveal her nude… back. Sorry dudes, not even a hint of cleavage once the soap bubble appear.
There’s a coda to this scene as Nonami joins us in the hotel room wrapped in just a towel. She poses in front of the open window. She’ll open the towel reveal her naked back to us. Finally, facing the window, she will drop the towel completely; once again we see only her bare back. This is gravure gentlemen, so if you were expecting something more it wasn’t in the cards.
Next Nonami poses in the same striped bikini she treated us to at the waterfall. This time she’s on the hotels grounds and she takes full advantage of the azaleas. More kisses come our way. This scene was played just for fun..
Back on the beach is next. Actually Nonami runs quite a distance with us following at a safe distance. She’ll stop at the shore and take off her shirt revealing yet another striped bikini. This is another of the let’s show off Nonami’s big boobs type of scenes. There’s a short interude just before the scene ends where Nonami works on a lollipop. Fortunately it so brief that we hardly notice or care.
An old train yard (the Cairns Kuranda Steam Railway) is Nonami’s next stop. Her costume is very interesting, but unfortunately they chose to shoot much of this scene with Nonami on one side of the chain link fence…
and the camera on the other side. No explanation is offered. The scene ended with Nonami drinking some bottled water and spilling into her cleavage.
Nonami in the bedroom seduction scene is next. She wears a black bikini, a garter belt, and black stockings. The effect would have been different had they chosen to do this scene in with more available light. The light source is from a single direction and this creates some beautiful effects. Nonami pulls out some her best allure and smolder for this scene. She looks fabulous.
A long scene follows. Nonami goes out on the balcony of her hotel room. She’s about six stories up. We can see the sea and we see mountains.
As the moments pass we see a sadness on her face.
She doesn’t speak so we have no idea what has caused this emotional moment for Nonami.
Towards the end of the scene we watch a single tear fall down the left side of her face.
A night scene at the waterfall park is next. With some strategically placed theatrical spotlights and lamps providing some illumination, Nonami does her best to light up the screen. Wearing a deeply cut one piece swimsuit, most of her breasts are exposed.
She doesn’t do much except stand in place. A floral crown atop her head, she might as well be a statue, But her magnificent figure is surely a stirring site. But unexpectedly the scene suddenly concludes. Not a fade out – just a sudden cut.
Nonami awakens in bed as if from a dream. This will be the scene behind the closing credits. WE are just at the sixty minute mark. And there’s a slide show and two additional sections to follow. Some of it is standard behind the scenes footage marred by too many closeups. Some of it is a shopping expedition, and some of it is some horrendous footage shot by Nonami herself. Nothing worth further discussion or display.
But there is a neat scene. Nonami goes bungy jumping. The world famous Hackett Bungy Park is the location and Nonami goes off the two hundred foot high tower. This like jumping out of the 20th story window of your local skyscraper. Summary: An excellent DVD. Nonami Takizawa is one of the best gravure idols making DVD’s these days. Her bust is impossible to miss and in this DVD they do plenty to bring her shapeliness to your attention. This video is not without some flaws as noted above, but it is well worth your consideration if you want to see a model with huge boobs, and an outgoing, friendly personality.

I dunno about a hearty recommendation, but it’s a solid idol DVD. As I mentioned in my review of Dear…, I found the entire thing way too inconsistant to be overly enthusiastic about the disc, especially compared to Nonami’s other recent releases like Rakuen and Tōbō.
One thing I did find noteworthy about Dear… is that I believe this is the first time Nonami has appeared “topless”, even if it was perhaps in the most innocuous way ever. She’s always been in the Nemoto Harumi/MEGUMI school of idols – she lets her looks and personality carry things rather than having to rely on lowest common denominator stuff like a lot idols do nowadays – witness the overhyped Takana Hitomi. Still, with the idol industry as it stands, one has to wonder if she’ll eventually do more risque stuff to keep up her career, or if she’s planning to move into the hybrid idol/tarento category like Hoshino Aki or Kumada Yōko. Given her penchant for having bit parts in various TV dramas and her output of music CDs, I’d wager the latter. Mind you, that’s what most idols want to do, and entertainment in any country is a tough business to break into.
OTOH better she do the risque thing rather than be the failed gravure idol-come-AV idol like Asami Yuma.

Agreed your view was less than hearty. And though my review include a g=hearty recommendation, I closed with,

So I guess I paid less attention to the flaws than you did. Or I wanted to pay the model the tribute she deserved – as the flaws can placed as the responsiblity of the producer & director & editor.

“you’re right, Mike, the model can’t be blamed for a lot of bad decisions in filming. I notice that online forums talk about the best video companies, but does anyone have an opinion about who are the best producers & directors? The only thing I notice about the credits is that hair & makeup is usually listed as hair & “make” – can different video companies all seem to make this glaring error consistently? They must have been watching too many Idols and not paying attention in English class.
I noticed that you said the food sequence in Dear was mercifully short and I wondered if there were any food-licking scenes that were actually worth watching. Are they just a novelty that has become a big cliche? I can remember an Asian For You girl performing a scene with red syrup that was hot, but that’s a different genre. Whenever I see these Idols break out their bananas I begin to have sympathy for the fruit – just bite the damn thing and be done with it!”

Actually, I don’t think I discussed food in Dear. I said that a lollipop sequence was brief. Anyway idols eat the same way we do – and no one looks particularly good while eating. I will have a pair of reviews coming up soon with Sayaka Ando and she eats in both of DVDs.
As far as the fractured English, or mis-spellings – it happens often. And Make for Make-up might just be a local colloquialism.
I am starting to pay more attention to the directors – as some times it is there fault. I’ll try to do more with this in the future. Thanks for your comments.

Thanks for the comment Crunky. I’m not sure why they included this bit of crying. As you say, it does add to realism. I’ve always thought that Idol DVD’s shpould never be just bikinis, or just glamor posing. The addition of real life always enhances the DVD even if shows the model in less than ideal conditions.
