Sayaka Tashiro – Kanata (Part III of the Sayaka Trilogy) – 2007

The Skinny: Though not previously seen on our pages, Sayaka Tashiro, is from the MEGUMI class of Gravure Idols. This means she’s cute, lively, as well as busty. These DVDs have all the elements that usually turn on a viewer. Lots of smiles and eye contact, revealing bikinis, and of course, an impressive Japanese H-Cup bust. The plus is that there’s a storyline in the midst of all this gravure work.
The DVD starts with a mysterious event. A girl on a sidewalk who is Sayaka says something to us. Another girl climbs out of a car that is parked behind the 1st girl. She turns out to be Sayaka too. She makes a cell phone call to another girl who is also Sayaka. I’ve no idea what is going on. Fortunately, at this point the opening montage begins and I’ll leave that scene where it is until I know more.
After the montage we find Sayaka in a car. She’s going to work on two lollipops and take off her blouse and skirt. She spends the whole scene looking quite sexy and curvy with or without the lollipops that she works on ardently.
As the next scene opens, Sayaka is in a yukata and she’s talking on the phone. Still a mystery for me.
The rooms opens. We see a futon, tatami mats, and Sayaka in the same yukata. She begins to act playfully while she chatters to us. Maybe we are her horny boyfriend as someone is trying to tug on her sleeve so her yukata will pop open revealing her bra encased boobs. She will protest, even leaving the room before returning in just a bra and panties.
At this point, this scene begins to resemble the 1st scene. A sexy woman will roll around in her underwear and looks so tempting. The first scene was in the back seat of a car, and this one is in a bedroom.
The third chapter has a completely different look and feel. We have found daylight. Sayaka is at a bath house. First she’s in the pool, then she’s inside for a scrub.
If this bathhouse looks familiar that’s because we were here in September for a review of Seishun Dynamic with Hitomi Aizawa. But that was then, and this is now. Sayaka looks good flirting with us in the pool, and she looks sleek and sexy while soaping up.
Next is the after the bath scene. “We” are back in play as Sayaka’s unseen boyfriend. She wears a very sexy short pink nightgown over matching panties. Much of her impressive bust is displayed as she will apply some lotion. She will pay particular attention to her bust. And then, in a surprise, Sayaka opts to apply some lotion to us. In what is becoming ‘routine’ in idol DVD’s these days, we can see the motion of her arms without seeing her hands. Is this a hand-job?
We’ll never know for sure. In any event she looks great – whatever she is doing to us. But she looks just as well when she’s bouncing around, or standing over us, exposing a wonderful cleavage,all of which happens on the beds.
An office scene is next. Sayaka is down on the floor measuring something. She brightens considerably when she sees us. I guess we are still in the role of the boyfriend. She’s wearing a white blouse and a short black skirt.
She takes us to a conference room, climbs up on the table to remove her pantie hose. After that she’ll take down her skirt. Throughout all this she’s sending out major signals with her eyes. This would look very exciting in person as it is exciting even though I’m just watching a DVD.
She’s going to work in some views down her blouse too. Eventually the blouse gets undone revealing a colorful bra. While this scene does run a little long – in fact this DVD runs 90 minutes and most of the scenes are longer – Sayaka has done a good job so far of winning us over.
Next we have a brief interlude. Sayaka wears a white leotard. They’re out on a lawn, so we have the green grass, a tree, and Sayaka scampering about. At first you might think those are her nipples poking through the leotard fabric. They’re not. Those are appliques sewn into the fabric. This is cute as she tries to hide behind the tree, but the whole scene runs only about two minutes and change.
Then a major shock as we are suddenly transported to a tropical beach. Sayaka wears a sporty yellow bikini and helps the scene out by getting a lot of sand on herself which has to be brushed off.
A dark shower scene is next. Sayaka is sitting dejectedly in the shower. She’s been crying and continues to look morose.
Fade out.
Now she’s in bright bath room – in fact in the tub. The boyfriend (us) comes in. He (we) give her a red and a yellow ball shaped objects. Sayaka is having a great time. It makes no sense to you if you can’t understand the Japanese. Like the movie title, this scene is ‘Lost in the Translation’.
After the bath, Sayaka is in bed wearing just a towel. She leaves and momentarily returns in a slinky red silk slip . Its tighter near her bust and wider as it flows downward. She enters the bedroom and we join her on the bed.
She’s going to take off the red silk. Under it is a very sexy bra and panties set. The lights are low. Surely a romantic interlude is about to happen. As we get closer and closer, she will approach for a kiss. Fade out.
Wedding chapel is next. Sayaka as a bride replete with wedding gown, veil, pearls, a very good look at her wedding band, and as we see at the end – these strange bridal panties.
Summary: Serves me right for not watching the first two parts of the trilogy. While the plot line in this DVD doesn’t mean a lot to me – I can say that I am now very much a fan of sweet Sayaka.
Maybe it is her caboose, and strong legs, or maybe it’s her impressive bust. But most likely I like the way she looks playing the seductress. The combination of curves and sweet smiles make her a total idol.
This particular DVD won’t make you swoon, but I think they did a very good job. Quite likely had I seen the other parts I’d have a better idea of what was going on. But purely on the visuals, I’ll score this one at three point seven five.

Just FYI, that kanji on Sayaka’s panties is kan (完), or “the end” (of a movie, play, etc.)

Another helpful hint from our friend from Osaka.
On another note, where I live there is a new channel for High Def TV. They call it the Kung-Fu Channel on the Voom Network. So far in the last month or more, they are broadcasting the old Zatoichi movies in high def. I am able to watch a couple of these a week. I am hoping to learn something from these movies. Since I am most likely to NOT need to learn how to wield a katana, or improve my swordsmanship – I’ll concentrate more on Japanese language skills.

The old Ichi with movies are quite cool, but there’s no way you’d ever learn any kind of practical swordsmanship from watching the films – the “reverse” sword grip looks badass, but is totally impractical in most situations due to lack of power and reach. That being said, I know of some iaidō and battōdō kata which use the reverse grip for nukitsuke (drawing the blade) or chiburi (resheathing), but AFAIK kendō/jutsu never use it. But I digress…
If you get the chance, check out Kitano Takeshi’s 2003 remake: although I know it’s blasphemy to some who consider Katsu Shintaro the True Zatōichi (let’s face it – the guy played the character for almost 30 years and made some really entertaining movies), I actually preferred Kitano’s interpretation.

I saw it. In fact I bought the VCD version. The Takeshi version or interpretation was to move the story forward in time, and to toss in the absurd or at minimum exaggerations every so often.
Other similar films include Hong Kong’s Stephen Chow’s great Kung Fu Hustle (2004) or the classic Mel Brooks helmed movie, Young Frankenstein (1974).

Not at all. I like nude, and I like non-nude.
If I read you correctly, I think you’d like me to review some DVD’s with nudity. Any ideas as to which model or which DVD?
However, if you would read my What’s Next/Coming Attractions page you’d see that I have a review coming that will include a nude model.
Plus I’d listen to suggestiions…

JMM – Although my idol dvd collection is sorely lacking in the Sayaka Tashiro department, I fully intend to do something about that after reading your review and seeing the stills from this one. This girl is so hot that I believe she could melt steel. For me, Sayaka dvds require two viewings at each sitting … her trophy boobs completely capture my attention and then I realize that I need to watch again because I’ve missed out on gazing at her stunningly beautiful face.

M – Sayaka is indeed a ‘must add to my collection’ type of idol. This particular DVD may or may not be the best of the trilogy, but as you can see it made it into my column because she has it all – looks, figure, and personality.
