I’ll be the one who liked Hojo slightly better than Kindan. Mostly, that is because Hojo features a couple of segments (beach, basketball) that are lighter, more fun-filled, and evoke memories of Yoko’s earlier releases. I thought both DVDs were decent, certainly worth having if you are a Yoko Matsuganephile, and far better than the recent “hard”/fetish-themed stuff like Chichi Gurui, Chichi Mamire, Ultimate, etc. Pouting for women who don’t have great smiles, and Yoko certainly isn’t one of those. She needs lighter themes and more “fun” vignettes. I guess I prefer how I-one approaches a J-Idol video. Hope to see the trend continue back in the direction of where she was at ca. 2003-2005. One other point–thank God she ate something again. She looks infinitely better in the dual Hojo/Kindan releases than in her last five DVDs.
