The Skinny: A new model for me, maybe for you as well. And maybe a little bit of a mystery as the DVD cover calls her Mai, and yet she’s listed as Yui Nishida over at cdjapan as well as play-asia. Whatever her name is, Mai or Yui, you may call her cute, perky, and busty. Idol One – the mainline label from Line Communications shipped Ms Nishida and a production team out to Bali, and the rest is history. Let’s have a look.
Yes, there’s a perfunctory montage with just enough cleavage to whet your appetite for longer and slower looks at Nishida-chan. The first chapter finds her on the lawn in a red bikini. This is the scene where she introduces herself and talks about her measurements among other things.
Just when you thought the scene was done because you saw the model do the two-handed wave and pronounce the words bye-bye – you do get the fade-to-black, only they re-appear on the same lawn, where she will sit on the same big beach ball and bounce, bounce, and bounce.
And even after about 2 minutes of just this bouncing we aren’t done yet with this scene, as Mai will use the ball in another way by laying over the ball with her hands and feet on the ground. This provides us with some enticing butt shots.
Scene two has Mai in bed. This is a superbly edited scene, and it is exemplary in that it really does show us how spectacular her figure is. The scene consists of two separate music tracks. In the second she will remove the pink knit top to show off her bounteous bosom encased in a small bikini top. The natural lighting makes this scene easy of the eyes, and after all the motion with the beach ball this scene is almost perfectly paced.
At 13 minutes 45 seconds into the DVD Scene three begins. This one is a bath-tub and bikini scene. As always, in a luxury Balinese resort, the bath and shower area is filled with tropical plants and the sky is the ceiling. First she will invite us into the bath, and she will pretend to be washing us. She says over and over, “Kimo-ji?” The bath scene is very well done offering some exquisite views of Mai’s bust which is full, high, and round.
Next we’re back on the beach. Despite the musical soundtrack that is layered over the scene, we still hear the sounds of the pounding surf as well as Mai’s breathing which gets heavier and heavier as all she does in the is scene is run up and back over the same stretch of sand in a made up concept of pursuit and chase. And though she looks great in this white bikini, the scene is just too much of a one-note theme.
Back in the hotel, we Mai on a slab-of-glass table. It is a beautiful room, and all we are going to see is that the glass has some water on it – so Mai is able to lay on the table and do some slithering. Of course as the table is glass, it is no problem at all for the camera to go below the table and show us the view from under the model.
In the second part of the scene, she is on her knees on one of the side chairs leaning over the table. Her black bikini is small enough to show off her more than delightful bust.
While this scene is well made, there’s not enough going on to sustain your interest – meaning it’s a wee bit too long.
The massage scene is next, and compared to what we have seen recently with Mayuka Okada , Tomoko Yunoue, and Yuuka Sawachi, this one is relatively tame. Still there’s no denying that this the scene only amplifies how wonderful and shapely her figure is.
A dark blue one-piece Arena swimsuit is her costume for the pool scene which follows. While there’s nothing in this scene which displays any new or different techniques on how to shoot a pretty girl in the pool, the pacing and editing make the superbly varied camera angles come alive.
This is a pretty exciting scene even without any ‘distracting’ cleavage to look at. No doubt the editing as well as the model’s personality and comfortable screen presence make this scene work very well.
A yellow bikini is her costume in the next scene on the beach. She’s on this beach lounger and her sole prop will be the wooden pole which supports the large beach umbrella. This scene lags and has so little variation in the action that it pretty much is a failed scene.
Another beach scene follows. We get Mai in a wonderful two piece swim suit. She’s basically going to be laying on the beach, and she’ll play with some sand. We get our first music with lyrics in this track, and the song and the visuals will put you into the mood for romance. The closing shot in this chapter is rather beautiful as Mai’s face is the central image.
We are now about 49 minutes into the DVD, and the next scene begins as if it will be the last. Mai is wearing a ruffled bra and panties set and she’s outside of her room. As the scene unfolds, we are getting strong impressions that we are being seduced. The woman’s voice sings, “I want a happy ending…”, and Mai has that look that will tell most men that the time is right.
Only we have been misled. This scene doesn’t ever get into the bedroom. Instead, in the second part of this scene, the music changes and we hear some one singing about …”reading between the lines…”. Mai has this dish containing a creamy, milky lotion. She rubs this over her body, including dripping this into her cleavage. WTF? To me this ‘climax’ was wrong conceptually, and even if it was done fairly artistically, there was no point to show us the dish full of this stuff. I was most disappointed in this aspect of the seduction.
A beautiful sunset scene is next. Surely this will be the end of the DVD. Take a look.
The sunset is truly spectacular – only why do they feel this is the proper place to have our lovely model Mai/Yui Nishida be dressed in what is immediately recognizable as a variation of a standard Japanese High School uniform for girls. She wears a white blouse with a string tie, and a short blue plaid skirt. Okay…but then they have her sit down in a low tide shallow pool on the beach. She smiles sweetly…and begins to pour the sea water over her blouse. A wet tee-shirt scene would have been great, if done under proper artistic circumstances, but I think the aspect of executing a wet-shirt scene with the model portraying a school girl was wrong.
Soon she will stand and open her blouse up to reveal her bra encased boobs, then she will open her skirt and let it drop into the sea. A few pans up and down, and the DVD ends.
Summary: A truly lovely model with a great figure. Her face is beautiful and she has great screen presence. There’s no sense of her being reticent or feeling the least bit awkward. None of what Zatoichi might call “the deer frozen with fear in the headlights look”.
While they have executed a technically flawless DVD, some of the conceptual decisions were just misguided. While the girl astride the beach ball has become trite and all too common, at least they didn’t go for the dripping ice cream on a stick gambit. And while they did begin with a terrific sunset scene to bring the DVD to a close, they started far too late, as the sun had already dropped under the horizon line, and the decision to have her dressed as a student was just ridiculous.
I’ll award this DVD three point five as the ratings score. I’ll give Ms Nishida a strong thumbs up for her beauty and charms, but the producer and director might have given some of the chapters a wee bit more thought before the shooting commenced.
