The Skinny: The Ultimate DVD, from the For-Side.com/Cutie group is joyous celebration for any fan of Yoko Matsugane. Don’t miss it.
She’s been at it since 2001. Yoko Matsugane’s first video was called Idol Beams 2001 Vol.4 Real Venus: Blessing From the Sea. It was released on August 22, 2001. But that was a group effort as Yoko shared the billing with two other models. Yoko’s first solo VHS was called Spiritual. The release date was October 26th, 2001. Her first DVD, called Dulcet was released on June 25th, 2002.
Now nearly a full six years after her first on-screen performance, and a full five years since her first DVD release – she’s back, bursting at the seams as it were, with vitality, energy, and with a display of visual treats in a style that will leave you breathless.
As you may have read in Zatoichi’s review of Ultimate, this DVD is a departure for Yoko. Most of her past DVD’s emphasized her bust and portrayed her as a busty goddess capable of smoldering sensual delights. Here she is blatantly over-the-top (no pun intended) with much greater emphasis on her butt, crotch, as well as her magnificent bust.
Additionally, I think Yoko speaks more in this DVD than she has in all of her previous DVDs combined. This might be the beginning of a new trend. Most gravure DVDs have the models talk to us under the guise of an interview. But Yoko is offering straight reactions based on what is going on in a few scenes rather than just answering questions.
After a lengthy montage. we find a scantily clad Yoko imploring us to wake up. She’s astride us in a POV sequence. But not for long as the chapter changes perspective to become straight posing.
Before you get too engrossed in watching the ravishing Yoko in bed, the scene becomes a playful and energetic romp on a magnificent beach. While it is fun to watch, it is filled with movement, so much so that it was difficult to make any successful vidcaps. Fortunately, a chair appears and Yoko treats us to some delightful posing in a bold red bikini without undue motion. Below are the results.
For those of you who enjoy watching oral delights, the next scene finds Yoko on a rooftop location. Her prop is a lengthy Popsicle.
This scene has become all too common in the gravure genre. It’s like this has become a must-do, must-have, standard scene in all gravure DVDs. Just like having the model pose in some long abandoned building or structure. Of course the plus is that these things melt, and the model gets a bit messy. She might even need a shower…
We join Yoko in her shower. She’s wearing a revealing lacy slip. They do this scene in POV style. First Yoko appears to be washing us. Then we are handling a scrubbing brush. We poke, prod , then lightly scrub Yoko’s superb bust. If you have the patience, Yoko will tug up her slip, so we can access her butt for a good scrub.
After the shower and bath, a towel clad Yoko will apply some lotion to her body. If the towel slipped off her imposing boobs, we won’t see it.
But she does put on a sweatshirts style dress over the towel . Then of course the towel is tugged off. The main reason for this scene is to show off Yoko’s cleavage.
We next find Yoko outdoors in park. She wears a brief orange bikini and sneakers as this is the exercise scene. She uses one of those aerobic gadgets which fit over one ankle and have an attached ball at the end of a short strand of rope. As the ball is set in motion, Yoko must run in place to keep the ball in motion as well as jumping over it as it makes a circular trip around her ankles .
Got it? Didn’t think so, Maybe the picture will make it more understandable. While it intended for aerobic exercise, it’s also a great tool for creating a lot of jiggle.
How about a bit of relaxation out by the pool? Yoko wears a bikini-ish one piece bathing suit with enough skin showing that we have to think twice about calling it a one-piece. Yoko shows off her body, while tossing us some of her best and patented smoldering looks.
Back to the garage. We are in the car, and Yoko is the luscious woman who climbs up on the hood to tease us through the windshield. She will press her huge boobs against the glass. And if you consider that she’s wearing a deeply cut dress which already reveals an enormous amount of cleavage, this is a bit of a bonus.
Before the scene ends, Yoko will joins us in the car. She seems intent on showing off her panties as well as her bust. While this scene is a series of edits rather than a camera in motion, it still works just fine.
Then just when you thought we’d never return to the beach, we do. Yoko wears a white bikini, and a short pink striped wrap skirt at the outset. She will climb up on a small lifeguard platform. The cameraman does his best to get as many shots as he can of Yoko’s butt and crotch. But fear not, the plenty of boob-age on display as well.
Yoko gets the gooey slimy clear gel treatment next. She’s in a shower stall and she wears a black bikini. There’s heavy emphasis on Yoko’s bust this time. Then a quick cut and Yoko sits on the edge of bathtub.
The gooey gel is till in evidence and Yoko takes us with her on the slippery slope by gliding up and back on the tub edge. The lighting was weak so they had to use some auxiliary lamps which created shadows, and I think this detracts from the scene’s value.
Back in bed is next. We are about an hour into the DVD. Yoko wears a ravishing bra and panties set, as well as smoky charcoal stockings. I’ve always thought that the folks who pick the costumes for Yoko seem to find the best of underwear and the worst of bikinis.Once again the scene asks you to share many butt and crotch shots.
As the credits roll, Yoko is in the middle of some sort of site under construction. She’s astride some sort of piping. It’s the last scene and the DVD comes full circle as the opening scene had Yoko astride (someone?) as well. They do their best to insure some superb closeups for us.
Yoko wears panties, and a green scarf tied over her bust. Again the main target of the camera is Yoko’s tail and we get many views looking up at her panties from below. Yoko will remove the green scarf to reveal a patterned covering over her breasts. She will later remove that and we will find yet another covering over her bust.
The final two minutes are set in some dark place, possibly an underground parking garage, or maybe just the interior of a warehouse. Yoko oils up. This is the last scene of the main part of the DVD. And they might have skipped it as it was a tad dark.
There’s about a ten minutes bonus section which has outtakes, making of, behind the scenes, and interview segments. And a weak slide show as well.
And that’s it.
Summary- a very positive effort. Yoko has apparently gained much of the weight she had lost. You will no longer say in any way that she looks thin. Her magnificent bust is still eye-poppingly huge.
This is a Yoko who has agreed to a much more explicit style of video than she’d ever done before. It’s not cheap or sleazy in anyway – but I think if the director had been miked and if he spoke English we’d hear him saying stuff like – “Okay, show us your panties, or show us your ass,” over and over.
The music is a mixed bag, some of it very effective and some of it eminently forgettable.
Yoko is still a beauty but you will see a bit of skin issues on her face. I also believe that while she looks as sexy as you could hope for, they might have paid a bit more attention to her hair.
I will score this one at four point zero, and give it a strong recommendation. I will also report that is a Region 2 DVD and you will need a Region 2 Player or an All-Region Player in order to view this DVD on your television.

I really hope she never strays farther than what she is doing today, meaning that she keeps blowing our mind with her amazing body but still keeping the curvacious wonders covered. She keeps her fans wanting more, hoping to see a waredrobe malfunction or slip but she’s really beautiful and this is working for her.

While it’s nice to see Yoko somewhat recovered from her bout of near-annorexia, I’m saddened to see her filmed, shot and composed in such a cheap and explicit fashion. Sucking a giant popsicle? Waving her fanny around like a cheap prostitute?
This isn’t my Yoko. Where did the fun go?

Thanks for the comments. I know how you feel. Those of us who have watched this beauty for nearly or actually five years, have to have mixed feelings about the change in the contextual situations on screen as well as how we are asked to view Yoko.
I think it’s just the sign of the times; directed from the higher ups in the producer’s offices. There’s a a need for a quick infusion of cash to pay for the next flight down to Phuket, Bali, Saipan, Guam, or even Okinawa with a gaggle of giggling girls hired out to make the next batch of gravure DVDs.

I’ve repeatedly stated that in my opinion, Yoko is the Numero Uno Gravure Model. So I am in full agreement with your appraisal.
