This column is about detectives - not about action heroes. The real truth about why Lee's films have never appeared in my columns is that I've only seen one or two, and those were many years ago. I simply don't have the knowledge about Lee to confidently write about his films. Moreover, the whole genre of martial arts movies have mostly gone by without me seeing too many of them. I appreciate the stunt work of Jackie Chan, and I love the work of Jet Li - but strictly speaking, I will do something along those lines for a column one day, just not in the immediate future.
