Nonami Takizawa – Nagomi (2007)
Takeshobo
The Skinny: Nonami Takizawa has never looked better than she does in this slow and leisurely day spent in Nagomi, Japan. The town of Nagomi is famed for its Hot Springs bath houses. According to the website, the wearing of clothes or swim wear is prohibited. I guess an exception was granted to Takeshobo, as Ms. Takizawa doesn’t do ‘naked’ in this DVD. But that shouldn’t stop you from enjoying her lush body which is displayed in this DVD.
As the video opens, Nonami has entered a vacant classroom of her old school…maybe. Ah, she definitely enters, but the maybe is that I don’t know for a fact, that this is her old school. She looks around fondly as if remembering the old days. Then for some reason she opens her top revealing her bra. Then she’s laying on the floor in a pool of sunshine. Next thing you know, she’s starting to do a little window washing before taking a damp rag to the the floor. Ok, it is a little unusual, but the room was empty except for a stack of tumbling mats.
Next scene is still in the school, but this time a class room with a single desk/chair unit in the center of the room. Nonami wears small slivers of silver cloth which constitute a bikini.
The third scene is outside of the school. The dreaded faux leopard skin material makes it ritual appearance in a gravure idol DVD once again. This time in the form of the top of a tight dress. Although Nonami looks spectacular – too much of this segment is facial closeups. While her outfit is totally wrong for the setting, it was quite sexy.
Then there’s a quantum leap in style as the next scene is outdoors. Nonami wears a button sweater over a low-cut sun dress. She’s built a twigs and leaves based ‘campfire’ and instead of roasting marsh-mellows, she’s roasting some sort of a potato(?). Then there’s a bit of skirt swirling with the camera down below, as in “Nonami, show us your panties…”; the scene concludes with the sweater being opened and taken off the shoulders so we can see her more of her expansive cleavage.
Nonami wears a striped yukata in the next scene. This is sort of an outer robe, which are usually available for a guest in any Japanese hotel, or ryokan. Naturally she will open it up to reveal some small bikini-ish coverings for her body. Much of this scene is played as if we are her lover and there’s plenty of low talking and we are close enough to cuddle.
Next comes two back-to-back water based scenes. First, Nonami wears a beige bikini into the onsen. The steam rises, sweat beads up, and the camera is right there in the hot springs bath with her. She’ll be neck deep or will drape herself against the edge of the bath. A huge shower head comes into play. The water is hot and temperatures, hers as well as ours do rise. Very erotic if you ask me!
The second scene has us back in the hot springs bath and Nonami has a clingy see through over her bikini. They emphasize her cleavage, and the see-through-it-ness of her dress over the bejeweled bikini helps – but some how this scene is in too close too much of the time. While it is fun to be this close to such an imposing figure clad in a clingy wet dress, the scene faltered a bit to me. Maybe it was because we were too close for too long, or the lighting was over bright.
As the next scene begins we see a woman disrobing behind a sliding door to a room. Tatami mats, and paper screen doors are the background as Nonami is decked out in a black bikini. I thought this scene lacked enough movement, and we were too close to the model for most of the scene.
You know every so often the model should have an opportunity to look up into the camera rather than always having to look down to find the camera hovering below her boobs, angled upward.
A beautiful white knit dress is Nonami’s costume in the next scene. This is the same tatami room – and the lighting in this scene is excellent. We do get some intriguing glimpses of her magnificent cleavage but the scene is very brief.
Nonami will peel a huge tangerine for us in the next scene. Then we serve it to her, and we are up close as she bites into it . Then somehow the camera finds its way under the table for a few gratuitous peeks at her panties. Then, Nonami herself, having figured out where the camera went, crawls under the table to join us.
But soon we are back on the tatami mats. Nonami teases us as in reaching for her lover’s face. Again we are treated to more imposing cleavage shots.
Beautiful red and white silk adorns Nonami in the next scene. While this color combo has been appearing regularly in the idol genre lately, you will not be displeased. Overall this is a very romantic scene.
The last scene is the Sea-arch, We saw this same location in Rio Natsume’s Waterdrop DVD, and I would be surprised to find out that it was the same school house that Rio utilized in her Diary DVD which was released at the same time as Waterdrop.
Nonami gets down on hands in knees in the gently surging surf. She wears a brilliant red dress with a plunging neckline. Hardly beachwear – but this was someone else’s decision. This person is usually the art director. So the net result is that Nonami gets wet.
This is the last scene of the DVD. In the making of segment we see that the sea and beach area were quite cold. All of the crew are wearing fall coats. Give Nonami credit as she never gave us any indication of the chill she had to have felt.
Summary: This DVD is about a leisurely country weekend in the presence of a beautiful woman. I think the intent was establish the intimacy between the model and the viewers as if to say, we were her partner for the weekend. This is conceptually a good idea. However the pace was very slow throughout. I didn’t mind as I adore Nonami…but some of you might find this slowness annoying. Others may find that there was far to little variety of camera angles, as well as an over reliance on the closeup.
I mention these as they maybe meaningful to some of you. I’m going to score this one at three point seven five out of five, and give the DVD a proverbial thumbs up. Fans of Nonami will be glad they had an opportunity to see her in this kind of up close and personal setting.

First the obligatory compliment (obligatory, but also heart-felt) … JMM’s AoV is an essential part of my browsing-for-idols day.
Now on to the specifics.
Thanks for this fine review of Nagomi.
Very thorough, and very objective. And, if I’m to be honest, right on the money.
I especially appreciate your ability to remain objective here, as I am unable to do so.
On a scale of 1 to 5, I give every Nonami DVD a 10 … but that’s just me.

Thanks Mike – AoV appreciates your readership as well as the compliments.
Like you, I also have my favorite idols. But I must maintain objectivity – otherwise I would be crowing to the heavens about the wondrous new DVD just released by (fill in the name), each and every time a new title is released. Then my credibility takes a hit.
It’s one thing to want to see it – even though there negative reviews – because this model (fill in the name) is one of your favorites – but it is an altogether different thing to say each time that this new release is her best ever…
I am not hyping the DVDs. Nor am I sharing in any profit the DVD sales create. So I have no ulterior reason to be anything other than forthright.
Probably the best way for you to be objective, and not give every one of her DVDs a 10, is to watch all of Nonami’s portfolio of DVDs in a row. Then you begin to see the differences – and are better able to make clear judgments that one DVD is better than another. And more importantly, most of the deficiencies which result in one DVD being better than another can be blamed on the director, editor, or the production values.
At the end of the day we do agree – this is one supremely wonderful idol.
