Nittelgenic 2006 Memoires – Hitomi Kitamura

On March 31st, 1967 – forty years ago today, Rock musician Jimi Hendrix ended his set on stage at the Astoria Theatre, in London, England by smashing his guitar, then setting it on fire.
While this was going on, halfway around the world, thousands of young men dueled on behalf of their governments, in a conflict called The War in Vietnam.
Nearly 21 years later in 1988, comedian Robin Williams starred in a movie entitled, Good Morning Vietnam. The antic Williams portrayed radio DJ Adrian Cronauer. This was one iconoclast portraying another. Or the pot calling the pot a pot. Unlike other Vietnam war epics on film, this film examined the usual wartime perspectives from a different and singular perspective. To quote from Answers.com
“Humor and war often make strange bedfellows but sometimes humor can have a therapeutic effect for postwar sentiments of anger, frustration and loss, especially in the case of the bitterly divisive Vietnam conflict.”
What ever your political bent, or your nationality – there’s no disputing that the war in Vietnam, left its imprint on millions of ordinary people. Today is March 31st and it is forty years after young men away from home for the 1st time took up surfing on China Beach, or lost their virginity in whorehouses while on R & R in Bangkok as a respite from their days at war. It is also forty years after Hendrix asked us all, Are You Experienced?
Today Vietnam has a decent enough infrastructure, so that people visit there for the expressed purpose of having a vacation. Hue, Ho Chi Min City, and HaLong Bay are more than just names on a map or places etched in history. In fact, a major Japanese Gravure Idol Production company – VAP – sent a group of four luscious models off to Phan Tiet, which is about 180 klicks East from Ho Chi Minh City and produced DVDs for each one of them. Back in February we reviewed the Mikie Hara DVD.
For this issue, we will offer a look and some comments about the cute and sexy Hitomi Kitamura who was one of the models who strutted her stuff in Vietnam for VAP. Lots of you think Hitomi is a great model. She’s got a cute smile. She’s got a great rack; but I think her most outstanding feature is her caboose.
Wonder of wonders – there’s no opening montage. Instead the DVD launches with an opening scene with Hitomi flaunting her charms in and around the hotel pool. What a loverly bunch of coconuts!
It’s high energy and fast paced with sweet Hitomi using her arms to squeeze her boobs together way more often then we are used to seeing in an idol DVD. Of course she’s wearing a tiny bold yellow bikini that looks a bit small in the cup size. Not that there’s anything wrong with that…
The second scene reverses a staple scene that we often see. Instead of dressing Hitomi in standard school girl issue uniform – blazer, short plaid skirt, white shirt and tie – they have her wearing the school boy uniform – black slacks, military cut black tunic, and black shoes. Only shortly after she walks into view she begins to open the buttons. A moment later, nearly all, as in most, of the jacket buttons are opened so Hitomi can show off flashes of cleavage.
While it is a bit daring, I think it is out of character for Hitomi. In any event what ever they were thinking, I wasn’t enthralled seeing a model in this type of clothing. And don’t forget we are at a tropical resort, so an all black outfit as especially wrong for the setting.
As I said this is a tropical resort – so Hitomi goes out to play in the South China Sea in the next scene. She doesn’t really swim in the sea – it’s more like she scampers around in the ankle-deep foamy water as it rushes shore-ward, followed by some cute posing in the shallows and on the sand.
We then see Hitomi chatting with a local girl on the beach. You can pick out Hitomi saying in English, “My name is Hitomi”. The Vietnamese girl doesn’t understand English or Japanese. Hitomi tries again, “I am a Japanese garou”, which must be the best she can do with g-i-r-l. Hitomi tries to repeatedly shake hands, and soon is edging perilously close to wearing out her welcome. Seconds later, the Vietnamese girl refuses further contact and it looks like Hitomi is waved off, as in, “Take a hike sister.”
So its back to the hotel where Hitomi is decked out in a frilly two piece light green with white trim bathing suit only she’s going to wash a car. While there’s no chain gang of convicts watching her ala the carwash scene in Cool Hand Luke, it is a fun scene. And it does offer a few shots that make it abundantly clear that Ms Kitamura is quite busty.
Hitomi next greets us in a bright cherry red Playboy Bunny costume. This is the full set complete with bunny ears, bunny cotton ball tail, shirt cuffs with cuff-links, black net stockings, and black pumps. Right out of a Playboy club from the 70′s. She looks as cute as a … Playboy Bunny, for lack of a better word.
Hitomi goes shopping is next. This is no shopping expedition to a glittering mall. No, this is a hardworking real Vietnamese street market. Hitomi has her heart set on buying some chicken to cook for the crew that night. At least that’s what I got from her play acting or pantomime. Instead she ends up with some humungous bone structure that may have been some four-footed animal’s shoulder socket. Let’s move on shall we?
Hitomi wears a sexy bikini next. It’s a deep dark green and it fits her rather well. In this scene I realize why I like her so much – she’s clearly a cross between Rio Natsume, only not as busty, and Miri Hanai, only a bit bigger. They have her posing with a wood gate painted black as the stage prop, and they have her rolling around on the floor. This scene serves to accentuate her bust and her curvy butt.
This is immediately followed by Hitomi on a swing. She’s decked out in a red, sleeveless, side-less, cut to the waist, and may have once been a sweatshirt only this one has a hood, and pointy ears. This is straight from the Miri Hanai stylebook. You know they must also have taped this top to her boobs so we can see a good deal from the sides, but there won’t be any accidental slippage leading to a nipple sighting.
Believe it or not – Hitomi looks so sweet and lovely in this scene despite wearing this outfit designed especially to have you see nothing else but her bosom which will look like it might but will not become exposed.
A muddy drainage canal is the next setting. Here Hitomi really plays the Miri Hanai style. Its set up for heightened eroticism, like she’s going to get dirty, and she’s going to be rubbing that oozing mud over her breasts. Well, that doesn’t happen. Hitomi also looks semi-apprehensive throughout the whole scene.
Next we are back shopping. This time she buys a package of cookies and some fruit. We hear Hitomi say in English, “Excuse me…” and something else which may have been “How much?
Indoors is next. Best scene in the entire DVD as Hitomi poses in bra and panties. If you have resisted her charms so far, this scene will cause you to give it up and bow to the model’s looks and the utterly fabulous curve of her hips in this chapter.
The last scene in the main body of the DVD has Hitomi up in the sand dunes in a silver lame bikini. You might see a Yoko Matsugane in a swimsuit like this as she generally goes for the exotic bathing suit. But Hitomi does succeed in this scene.
What follows is are previews of all four models in this series. Rather nicely done in a peppy and energetically paced way. Then a long boring segments as the four models sit in a room and presumably talk about the memories this trip has for them. It runs nearly 10 minutes and does drag a bit for those who cannot understand Japanese. Then about five minutes of outtakes. This gives us more looks at Hitomi in bikinis.
Summary – this a well done DVD. They had absolutely superb weather. The colors are crisp and clean. And the camera work was pretty good. Most of the scenes were edited at a fairly rapid pace, so even if you didn’t really like every scene that didn’t ever drag on too long. I may have some doubts over some of the musical selections, but they were varied and eclectic ranging from angry-boy rock to calypso, from brassy jazz to reggae, and a few other genres mixed in.
Final score is a four point zero. Hitomi has it all – big eyes, big boobs, and a big butt. She’s quite the package!

I totally agree that Hitomi’s best feature is that spectacular rear end. I won’t quote the whole song, but a certain rap classic by Sir Mix-a-Lot comes to mind. The rest of her (eyes and chest as you said) just further adds to her appeal. She really is the whole package in my eyes when it comes to gravure models. It’s also nice to see that the quality of her DVDs has gone up, along with something else mind you.

With only six DVDs on her resume, Hitomi Kitamura is not a well known name in the Gravure Idol World. However men seem to like her, and I think she has a great future.
