Chichishigure – Yoko Matsugane – Air Control/Melon
The Skinny: Two Thumbs up and Must See despite some (relatively) obvious (but not crucial) drawbacks.

Let’s get something out of the way before we go any further. I reviewed Yoko Matsugane’s Body Scandal DVD back in November.

Here’s a quote:
“But since there’s less of Yoko than we’ve been accustomed to from the past years, then the score must also give up some points. But guess what, despite the serious loss of weight – this is a woman that can still definitely stop you in your tracks if you found yourself walking towards her.”
For that DVD, the circumstances were that we hadn’t seen her in a while so the weight loss was a tad shocking. This time we were better prepared. While Yoko is still slender, she’s not slender everywhere, and seemingly, the effect is still shockingly different but not because she’s lost weight, but that she’s put some weight back on. So let’s have a look at Chichishigure from Air Control.

The first two songs tracks play under Yoko out on a lawn somewhere. I’m not enamored of this ruffled or fluffy bikini, as I don’t think these are the right colors for her. Yoko should be seen in bold colors rather than muted. However, she’s fairly active in this scene, and the lawns and pines make a solid as well as interesting background. The director does give us plenty to see of Yoko’s bounteous bosom.


Scene Two has Yoko in a corridor. She wears a sexy bra and panties set. Her boobs look as a big as ever, the bra is really flattering. Without a change of costume, the music shifts and Yoko is now on a staircase which has become one of her signature settings. And then there’s a 3rd song – and we still have the same bra and panties.

This entire sequence will prove that Yoko is no longer gaunt. The director provides us with the types of shots that would definitely reveal her ribcage and hip bones, as we saw in Body Scandal, but the lady has put a few pounds back on on in key places, so the bones aren’t as starkly visible as before.

Next up is a ‘barmaid’ sequence. Yoko sets up some chairs, she polishes the iron bars of the gate, and sits around looking sexy. She says a few words here and there. There’s a a certain sluttiness that Yoko is ‘selling’ in this scene, what with the extended handjob on the iron bars, and the multiple spread leg shots. It’s not that she’s looking slutty, it’s more like she’s acting provocatively, or more accurately, that’s what the director is intending.


This is followed by a scene in bed. Yoko is asleep (wink-wink), and one of those pointers in the shape of hand with an extended forefinger at first looms over her, then proceeeds to poke and jab her softly. Just about the time, you begin to say no way she sleeps through this, she wakes up.

And then she sequentially assumes a series of positions and movements that give you the impression that she’s having sex. She’s definitely not, and she’s still covered – but there’s no mistaking the fact that these are simulations of the motions of a sexual episode. Pretty racy stuff for Yoko. The song lyric that closes the scene, “I’m feeling so horny…”, removes any and all doubts of the intentions.

Yoko does a pole dancer sequence next. For some reason they’ve added a red feather boa to her top – a mistake as this obscures her shapely bust. This scene also includes a rope. While Yoko looks fine, this scene fails on every level except for one single shot where we get a view into her deep cleavage. The music was wrong, and the edits were wrong. It’s simply a failed scene.


Another staircase is the backdrop for the next scene. Yoko is wearing a white blouse and a beige skirt. At the outset, her buttoned blouse is opened up to a point below her bust to reveal a rather generous amount of cleavage as well as more than a simple peek at her bra. Little by little the blouse vanishes, then her skirt is hiked up.

These poses are very provocative. When Yoko is left wearing her bra and panties, the shots are amped up to be even more sexy. Yoko uses a chair to push her already impressive cleavage into even more prominence. And a good bit of attention is paid to her butt; in fact this is a recurring event throughout the entire DVD.

This scene is a very sexy scene. Her bra covers her some of her bust, but doesn’t look like it a has any underwiring to offer much in the way of support. Yoko will undo the bra using her hands to to conceal her bosom, as best as she can, but they are easily into uncharted territory as far as Yoko and revealing her bust goes.

Next Yoko crawls around on some leather furniture. Despite the red paint on the walls, and some provocative angles, this scene isn’t that hot. Yoko does her best to overcome the built in deficiences of the director’s plan – and looks great doing so, but I can’t give the scene high marks. This is a case of the model lifting the scene’s value by means sexy outfit.


And once again, he director trots out the prop pointers. Yoko is still on the leather couch, and almost before she can finish a sip of water she’s having to fend off the pokes, and probes. However, they allow her to playful about it . This mini scene also has more of Yoko talking (to the owner of the pointers). She’s gentle and charming despite conveying a message something along the lines of – “Enough already!”


Next we are at some sort of indoor pool or spa. Will it be a swim scene or a bath scene? Sorry, we get a little of both but not directly. Yoko is sporting a fire-engine red bikini which is small enough to reveal her entire cleavage and what do they do? This is where a gooey, slimy gel is dripped over her body. Her body is magnifcent as she alternatively lets the stuff drip down or she spreads it manually.

Then they let her rinse off with a hand-held shower nozzle. There’s not a lot of water pressure, but a wet Yoko truly looks sleek and sexy. At the very end of the scene, she’s in the pool and swims off – but this is not more than an afterthought as we see all of five seconds of this.

This is followed by a throwaway scene of Yoko in a bikini in a locker room. Not a dressing locker-room, but more like a locker room at the bath house for you to lock up your valuables. She wears a black and white costume with some cheap jewelry adding some glitter.

This evolves into a semi-dance sequence. Yoko’s moves are studied but ineffectual. You won’t be raving about what she’s doing, but you will be mesmerized by her looks – as always.Then a brief water bottle break – and more posing in the same outfit. You’ll get a good look at faux spiderweb bling-bling which serves as an outer bra over the bikini top – but this scene also looks forced.

Next we have Yoko in a fabulous red and white patterned kimono or yukata. It is a Japanese room with shojo screens, tatami mats, and sliding doors. There’s some teasing and then the kimono is lowered to the off the shoulder look. And then lowered even further to show off a good half of Yoko’s bare bust. This is quite daring for Yoko, but the music was totally wrong. You can see from the pics that this is territory that we’ve not been to with Yoko before.

This is the last of the main scenes, and the following 15 minutes is making of and behind the scenes segements. These are very watchable and we hear the click-clack of the cameras, and the photographer’s instructions to the model.

Yoko reveals her good natured self, and even when the interviewer insists on using those darned pointers, she’s fairly laid back about it.

Summary – while Yoko Matsugane is no longer the same big-busted voluptuous dream machine that she was circa 2003 and beyond, she’s reached a very acceptable weight in this DVD. While she’s no longer in this same ball park physically – she is in the same neighborhood.

The DVD itself has issues concerning some director’s choices and music, but this viewer finds there’s not enough short comings to drag down my rating. So I’ll bring this one is in at four point two five. She beautiful, she’s very busty, and this one certainly pushes the envelope for a Matsugane DVD in terms of revealing her sexuality. And one more thing – Yoko doesn’t have to appear on a beach to make a good DVD.
