Ero-kawa J-Cup – Ellie Kisaragi

The skinny – A softcore first release for Ellie. Mostly provocative posing, unique camera work, and a bit of nudity.

You’ve all heard of the Japanese production house known as GAS, headed up by Akira Takatsuki who has been at it for years. A few of his recent stars who have appeared on our pages are Yuu Ogawa and Yuna, and either of those ladies look great stretching a bikini to its limits or pushing some lucky guy to perform with his best efforts. You may have also read a few reviews of his Bomber Girl series on our pages a few years ago.

New on the horizon at GAS is Ellie Kisaragi. Her first DVD for Akira is entitled Ero-kawa J-Cup. The “j” is part of her published measurements as in 100 cm J Cup.

The DVD seems to change perspectives with each scene. You won’t be able to decide if you are supposed to applaud the ‘dazzle’ of the film-making or the ‘sizzle’ created by a big-busted model. However I must toss in a word of caution as this DVD is neither dazzling or sizzling.

Mind you, this is not to disparage either the director or the model. Instead, think of it as a tempering of the praise. Certainly, Ellie Kisaragi qualifies as both busty and beautiful, and just as certainly, Akira has been at the helm of a ton of DVDs which starred women with large busts and then some. Its just that there are low points here and there which tend to dampen my enthusiasm.

A pre-credits sequence which lasts almost two minutes fails to show us either the model’s face or bust. She enters an apartment, changes her clothes, and slowly walks through what might be a club, or an apartment. At the end she lifts a garage (?) door and the light floods in. Cut.

We’ve not seen her until this point where an interview combined with a posing session commences. The views of Ellie in this scene are generous as she is engaging and talkative while posing before the all-white seemless background or on a white-sheeted bed. Her bink pikini is a bold statement.

The second scene is a departure from a concerted focus on the model. This time it is directorial excess which must be mentioned. He’s all over the place – full screen, letterbox, vertical letterboxing, color, b&w, overly pink, and split screen effects. By the way, Ellie wears a red bikini top, white cut-off shorts, and camouflage jacket.

This is followed by Ellie in a black bikini trimmed with gold. She also sports some gold bangles on her wrist as well as golden chain around her hips. The scene begins with strong light and an all-white background and ends with lessened lighting against a red painted wall. There’s some mild movements by the model. She looks great but the context of the scene doesn’t help.

In the next scene, Ellie is clad in a bra and panties and is sitting on a toilet. This is a tiny closet of a bathroom, so the camera can’t move. Ellie unrolls the toilet paper. Festoons the room with it. You see it then you don’t. Then it is back hanging on the walls again. Silly at best – and more aptly described as a throwaway scene is the best I can come up with.

Ellie is next seen in a floor-length gown that has a slit going up high on her left thigh. We hear a conversation – what we see is a Ellie sitting alone and drinking a tulip glass of wine. And that is it – nothing much happens.

In the next scene – it is all cuts and jumps. At the begining Ellie wears a reddish outfit including a coiwboy hat and cowboy boot. Then the view is red lingerie with same hat and boots. Then a top covers the red underwear; then there’s yet another change of bra and panties – all within one song.

Next comes a gentle shower scene. The music is slow and soft – a piano with some light strings underneath. Ellie wears a white top and panties. She gathers her boobs in one arm. Eventually, the sounds of the shower are added to the music, as well as Ellie speaking. But these audio factors fade out and we are left with just the music. Ellie gets her hands onder the top to eventually expose the shape of her boobs as her hands cover the nipples. It’s all tease, and the slow motion helps. Well done.

Cut to a dancing Ellie. She wears a pearl-necklace, pasties, panties and shoes. The director does his best to throw mulitple lighting tricks our way. It’s reddish, it’s a spotlight, shadows, no shadows, and eventually we see that Ellie is dancing in front of a movie screen which is showing both moving as well as still images of a woman with huge boobs which might even be Ellie – but we never get to know that for sure. Intriguing.

Ellie appears next in a pink slip and pink panties on a pink bed. There are far too many camera and editing maneuvers in this scene. Eventually you will see that she still sports the same pasties from the previous scene. They seem intent on not showing us too much of the model in the first half of this scene. The cuts and switching in and out of focus is maddening. The focus, or lack of focus eventually goes away, but the scattershot editing doesn’t. Ultimately disappointing is how I’d describe this scene.

Ellie in the art scene is next. A wet white shirt, a dewy rose, an antique mantlepiece, Vivaldi string concerto music, and a stationary model are the ingredients. It is quite effective and interesting but it doesn’t flatter the model despite showing off her naked breasts.

The finale has us back to the black and gold bikini and the interchangeable white background and red wall. This time Ellie removes both her bikini top and her bikini panties. Yup – full nudity, and nicely done.

Summary – Ellie Kisaragi is a very worthy and hope we can see her again model presented in a DVD which was mainly concerned with promoting the direction and editing rather than the model.
