I Wish… – Nozomi Takeuchi

The skinny: Another superbly crafted effort featuring the supremely sexy Nozomi. The setting is a gorgeous resort in Bali. And even though this DVD has no beach scenes, it is still a winner.

Back for yet another encore at AoV is the sexy Nozomi Takeuchi in the DVD called I Wish… from Takeshobo. This was one of her earlier releases and dates back to May 2005. Though this DVD is approaching two years since release, we will have to step and tell you that it is still a crackling good way to spend an hour.

The thing that makes Nozomi so great is her ‘attitude’. Amongst Japanese gravure idols, she’s not the prettiest, nor does she possess the largest bosom. But easily, she is the sexiest.

She’s got the smoldering hot looks that reach right into your brain and make you react. Whether she’s looking back at you over her shoulder, or slowly running her hands over her most impressive bust, she seems to know exactly how to press your buttons and elicit a positive response.

If they ever decide to build a visual training guide for budding gravure idols; you know, how to move, how to excite, and how to turn on the viewers – they might choose from any of a number of Nozomi’s DVDs as excellent source material.

After a rather lackluster, low energy, opening montage, we are greeted by Nozomi on hands and knees at a pool’s edge. Actually it is the counter of a bar for drinks, and this is in the pool, the swim-up-to side of the bar. An excellent choice to open the main chapters.

Immediately following is a scene with Nozomi wearing a slip over her bra and panties. She’s reclining on a bed in her hotel room at this fabulous Balinese resort. Though Nozomi moves slowly in this scene, and there are some initial lighting issues, as in overly bright at the beginning, this scene is brilliant edited. The pacing of the edits are just perfectly matched to the languid action. What does this mean to you – long and loving looks without undo changes of the camera placements aka cuts.

I guess it was planned as the next scene is out on the lawns with Nozomi dancing barefoot. Ok, maybe not dancing in the usual sense. But there’s lots of movement especially the kind that makes her boobs jiggle.

The next two scenes are just scintillating. Both have Nozomi in sexy garments. Both have her posing with the super lush tropical plants in the background. You can also see fountains with falling water. Initially they employ a zoom lens so the depth of field is reduced, and Nozomi is the main focus. I think these are the best two scenes in the DVD. Check out the images in the photos directly above and below this paragraph.

A swimming pool scene follows. While this scene shows off Nozomi’s great body, she’s playfully talking to us throughout. Maybe this was simply as transitional scene.

Whereas many gravure DVDs employ interviews as the transitions between the glamour scenes, this isn’t quite an interview. Its more like Nozomi fooling around with the camerman.

How about a shower type scene. That comes next, and it is a smashing scene. Just superb. I think it is a scene like this that has made Nozomi’s fans adore her. I did say shower, but in many of the Bali hotels, the shower/bath are under the open sky. In this one, Nozomi presses herself against the glass.

Nozomi in a sexy red slip is next. She’s outdoors on a patio. Nozomi makes some very languid movements, but what makes this scene so marvelous are the sexy looks she offers us instead of motion. It is the camera that moves in this scene.

I think another pool scene is in order about now, and so did the producers. She stands beneath a spout that delivers the water which falls onto her bust. Though this wasn’t one of the best scenes in the DVD, there’s enough variation – standing, swimming, and posing to make it work.

After the pool, Nozomi greets us at the door of her suite at the beginning of the next chapter. Shes wearing a perfectly fitting pale green bikini which goes a great job of showing off her breasts. The shadows help makes this an effective scene as does the use of flowers.

Back inside the room, Nozomi is asked to pose with just enough water beaded on her body so that we know she is wet. The venetian blinds make for an interesting backdrop. She barel moves from the original place she’s standing. She turns this way and that, so the camera provides the majority of the movement. This scene is also one of my favorites despite the poorly chosen mismatched musical selection.

The closing scene of the main chapters finds Nozomi in bed. The crisp white sheets and her motions make you want to join her in bed. And why not, she is a spectacular woman.

In addition to these chapters described above, there’s a nice slide show, a profile, and a bonus scene which is mostly footage of Nozomi hanging around while the photo shots were being set up.

I’ve generally give Ms Takeuchi very high marks for her DVDs. I always like them and this one will come away with a four point five with a must see recommendation.
