ma cherie – Megumi Kagurazaka
Time to saddle up. We’re off to a sun-drenched vacation spot with Megumi Kagurazaka. I mean that literally as we walk thru the airport with her, hang out with her at the gate waiting for the takeoff, and even sit next to her on the plane, courtesy of digital video. Fade out.
When the next scene opens we’re pool-side at a Pattaya, Thailand hotel. They’ve called this DVD ma cherie, and we can thank the lads at Takeshobo for their efforts.
Unfortunately, the choice of a white bikini that is too small mars the scene. But we won’t blame Megumi. We are just mentioning this in passing. On the other hand, it’s a lengthy scene with two components – posing poolside as well as posing in the pool.
The next scene is one of the Kagurazaka trademarks – simply gorgeous lingerie. This is followed by a quick transitional scene with Megumi in a tee shirt and cut-offs. Then, uh-oh – grey skies – and the beach scene is scheduled. What to do?
Put Megumi in a very revealing bikini – that’s the ticket. The camera was up close throughout and Megumi was in constant motion – maybe the air was chilly or the water too cold. The director should have had the foresight to ask her to hold a pose here and there.
A puzzler follows – Megumi is dressed in a gauzy affair that barely covers her breasts – and her hands are tied with a piece of red silk. There’s no one around, she hardly seems in peril. Not sure what they were going for. I must say the outfit is very revealing…
…and then the straps holding the dress up somehow are let down. This happens off-screen, and we are left with Megumi, with her hands tied, so she must cover her boobs with her arms. The again (off-screen) Megumi’s hands are untied and she is laying on a couch which some how materialized. The continuity is questionable, but the images are superb.
A brief walk in the woods or is it a mangrove? Maybe it’s both. Anyway, Megumi starts in a white blouse over a fire-engine red and quite small bikini. First the blouse comes off then the top. Again the removal of the top is off screen, so we aren’t prepared, or expecting this. The choice of employing the same methodology in back-to-back scenes is somewhat surprising if not wrong-headed.
Next out of the chute is another Megumi trademark – the bath & shower scene. They do a very nice job executing this one, and for the third scene in a row, Megumi’s top exits stage-left.
A first time event for AoV follows. The model does a wash! Megumi must wash her own bikinis and hang them on a line. Inventive and playful? Of course. Do I want to see a scene like this again. Of course NOT!.
Finally – Megumi in a bra and panties in a bedroom scene. Only twin beds? Does Megumi share the room with another model? We don’t have an answer to that question.
The closing scene has Megumi by the sea-shore. She’s wearing an outfit that probably looks great in the bedroom but doesn’t appear to be beach specific.
Summary – a fine effort – no real downside to this Megumi Kagurazaka DVD. They were hampered by the mediocre weather but there was a decent variety to the scenes, along with some Megumi staples that are sure crowd-pleasers. I find that I always seem to enjoy this model; and while the scores go up and down, the overall effect for me is that Megumi Kagurazaka is one model that I will continue to look forward to watching on screen. Three point seven five is the rating.
