A lot has been written about the recent new-look Yoko Matsugane. Many people have made comments on internet forums, chatroom boards, and blogs discussing possible or probable causes leading to the results of an over-utilized diet, a debilitating disease, a serious depression, or a plethora of other concepts attempting to explain the circumstances.
I won’t offer up anything in that vein because I have no first hand knowledge about Yoko. She hasn’t told me anything. She doesn’t even know me at all. And it doesn’t matter.
It’s her body and her life. End of Story.
But I will tell you about Yoko’s latest DVD Body Scandal – because that’s what I can do.
Actually it is a very good DVD. The setting appears to be the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Jimbaran, Bali. The producers must have spent a healthy packet of Yen to base their DVD at this location. The production values of this video certainly give that impression as everything about the visual aspects of the video is A-List.
The opener is a fairly pedestrian opening montage – methinks this was assembled mainly to show off Yoko’s still impressive chest. While there’s no denying that Yoko can no longer support the label of voluptuous, this review will demonstrate the fact that she’s still a busty beauty.
Scene One is a straightforward presentation of Yoko on a set of steps. There’s no artifice to this scene. You will note that she’s thin. Not just thinner than you remember but actually thin. Arms, legs, ribs, hips and even her face all disclose this. So it takes a few minutes for you to digest this information. Then, when they zoom in on her bust, your focus will change. And that’s a good thing.
Scene two has Yoko on the beach running up and back in a rich royal blue bikini. This isn’t one of those cut down to nearly nothing thongs. No this is a full fledged bikini that still allows plenty of jiggle and wobble. It is a beautiful beach, with a magnificent surf, and the day is sunny. The scene work best when she’s not motoring up and back at a quick pace – she’ll look best at rest on this beach.
Scene three is a bedroom scene. It opens with a ‘supposed’ surrepititous look at the ‘sleeping’ Yoko. But she awakes soon after we enter the room. A few of the angles will briefly reveal the angularity of her now prominent hip bones and ribcage – but Yoko will provide enough cleavage shots to overcome your apprehension.
A shower scene follows. In my opinion this is a failed scene. They’ve positioned Yoko behind the glass door of the shower and asked her to use the hand held showerhead. Since she has to hold the shower head and direct the stream, she’s not able to do much else. Hence, most of the scene has her pressed against the glass door. Only at the end of the scene do they have emerge form the shower and lower the straps of her ‘nighty’.
Out of the shower and into the pool. It’s a vibrant red bikini which does show off her mighty bosom. Its a two part scene with Yoko in the water then reclining on the steps of the pool to take the sun. When she comes out of the deeper water to stand before us – you will see that she’s still a major babe.
Back to the hotel for another bath is next. Yoko is wearing a startling bikini and high heels. The entire ensemble is silver, and has a high impact. This is one of those open-air bath facilities that Bali is famous for. What does this mean to us – sunlight, green plants, and tropical vegetation in the background as a contrast to the marble bathtub. And this scene has the Yoko signature meaning this scene will do a remarkable job of showing Yoko’s best assets to maximum advantage. Check out the images.
After the bath Yoko gets a massage. There’s a few shots where we can see her hips bones in a less than ideal view. And they might have chosen a bold color for her bikini for this scene. But the massage girl does a fine job with Yoko’s boobs.
By the way – this is a 2006 phenomenom – most of the massages we see these days actually includes the breasts getting some attention. I don’t recall this from last years or before.
The following scene has Yoko in an unsual bathing suit. We find her in an abandon building of some sort, and they’ve tossed in a mild stalking element to keep Yoko on the move. Ok. I’ll buy into it. But before you know it, a red silk cloth is on the floor and the scene becomes a teasing and purposeful posing session. Its not so much of a jarring transistion – it’s just a puzzling choice.
Ok – back to the bath tub. Except this time there’s a few things wrong. This is a tub scene and they’ve got her legs and feet in a far too prominent position. And the soap bubbles preclude any interesting or tempting views. In my view this is the second failed scene.
Next is a romantic scene. Yoko’s in a bedroom with oodles of candles, a four poster bed, and some beautiful and romantic lighting. She’s wearing black, and she looks great except for a few pouts that are a wee bit too pronounced.
The last scene is a pre-dawn night time beach scene. They use some portable lamps for the direct lighting, and Yoko wears an unusual bikini. The darkened skies provide a nearly all black seemless background as does the dark sand. Its a different look to the standard beach or sunset scenes that are always a component to idol DVDs.
A short making of and behind the scenes follows. I’ll summarize by saying that if you’ve been a fan of Yoko since 2002 like myself, then your enjoyment of the DVD will require you to make an adjustment mentally. And you may feel that you cannot. You may say that this is not the same Yoko that you’ve adored.
On the other hand, if you can, the major elements that we cared about from the past – Yoko’s great tits, her smoldering sensuality, her absolute willingness to engage the viewers directly with endless eye contact are all STILL there.
I’m going to score this video at four point zero. And I’ll close by saying, that I do recommend the DVD. It’s top of the line all the way. But since there’s less of Yoko than we’ve been accustomed to from the past years, then the score must also give up some points. But guess what, despite the serious loss of weight – this is a woman that can still definitely stop you in your tracks if you found yourself walking towards her. And since your chances of having her walk towards you are likely extremely remote at best, you might as well watch this DVD instead.
