So how about a chance of pace? More spice added to the soup to enhance the flavor couldn’t hurt. The model’s name is Karin, and she is a Japanese Gravure Model. But in this DVD she is mostly………..nude.
That’s right nude, as it says on the cover, and as in naked. And we won’t see any of those annoying pixilated on-screen blockers normally required by the Japanese censors. The title is karin : all nude. The producers are Air Control & Antenna, and it is a gem of DVD.
I had been aware of Karin for a while, and had considered buying a couple of her earlier DVDs, Milk Pudding and Fruit. For one reason or another, I never got around to placing the order much less forking over the requisite packet of paper images of dead presidents in assorted denominations…until this DVD caught my eye.
Following a so-so opening montage, and by that comment, I mean that the rest of the DVD was waaaay better, the video begins in earnest.
We see Karin by the sea. She’s wearing a red garment – I hesitate to call it a dress; yet it is a dress. It conceals nothing, and the cut of the thing is that we get to see more than a glimpse of her rear end cleavage. And how often do we see a dress like that? It is a very stylish scene. Artistic and dramatic yet perfectly paced and ideally matched to its musical sound track.
Karin’s body is magnificent. She’s not top-heavy by any stretch of the imagination, yet her breasts are mouth-wateringly beautiful. They have a proud thrust, are perfectly shaped, and are crowned by prominent, large, and excitedly erect nipples.
Straightaway you’ll be turning over phrases in your mind like classic, superbly crafted, artistic, and then again maybe you’ll be making some less complex sounds like oooh or aaaah as you assimilate what is before your eyes.
This is immediately followed by a making-of scene of the scene just concluded. We see at least 4 crew members, a photographer, 2 women, and an unknown functionary who appears briefly to adjust a fold of her costume.
The second main scene is of Karin on a white-sheeted bed. It’s not coy, nor cute. They’re not playing for passion or thrills, instead it is just a sensual, slow sequence of moments where in we enjoy the splendors of the seductive Karin. This too is followed by another installment of the making-of franchise.
Scene Three has Karin indoors looking through a window at a tranquil harbor view. The late afternoon sun reflects off the harbor waters. Later, they position Karin on the floor in front of the open doors to her balcony. Her only prop is a glass of water and a few ice cubes. Aside from her beauty, and the interaction of the ice cube and her skin as she trails the cube over various parts of her body – you will notice the absolutely stunning effects of the lighting which is not only fascinating conceptually, as it had to be planned out, but is also a supreme visual treat. This is the best scene in the DVD and is amazing as well as simply stunning to watch.
Scene Four is walk in the forest. Karin wears a few yards of a lemon yellow gauzy wrap. This scene is notable for its use of a long telephoto zoom lens which bring us up close despite the camera being an appreciable distance from the model. The net effect is the loss of depth of field. This means the model or subject is in absolute and true focus, but we cannot distinguish what is behind her.
Scene Five begins indoors with a nearly nude Karin. She wears only a white tulle and lace boa which is quickly discarded. She is reclining in a small table. The camera slows pans over her body. We can truly appreciate how a body looks while at rest. Literally you see the outer (external) change in her physical appearance as her lungs first take in, then expel the used air. It is like watching a live science exhibit only it is also a naked and stunning woman.
After an interesting making-of segment about the ice cube scene, the next main scene plays for us. Karin wears a beige or flesh colored one piece suit. She’s lying on the floor face up. Her arms are extended back over her head instead of their normal down position with hands pointed toward the feet. Her back is in an arch. Off screen, people are hovering around her. And some thick and clear liquid is dropped onto her body which causes reflexive movements. Everything is a tight closeup. Her pubic mound sharply rises. It is a wondrous and artistic scene. It’s very creative and I’ve not seen anything similar before. In the making of which follows, you see how it is done, and how Karin reacts verbally. She will squeal, laugh, or shudder.
The following scene has her on a futon. She’s in continual motion. Occasionally her breasts thrust upward in a way that will have you reaching for your remote to do a short rewind/replay. The jazz score which plays for this scene is light and effective, and matches the models movements in terms of the pacing. There’s also a scintillating shot from the side of Karin’s pubic hair which is long and wild.
An electrifying scene follows. A totally nude Karin swims in the pool. She is shot both below the surface and from above. The lighting is extraordinary, and many of the tight closeups will blow you away. Breathtaking to say the least.
And that is the last scene. There’s a lot more making of to follow. Generally you don’t miss a lot if you skip the making of scenes. But these are used much diferently in this DVD. Basically even without speaking Japanese you can enjoy them because Karin’s personality come to the forefront, plus you can see the technical set ups. We find out that the underwater scenes were not shot by a submerged camera man in the pool. We see that there was a glass wall and the camera people were not underwater as they talked and laughed while shooting Karin who was underwater.
There’s also an extended Air Control Digest which shows you scenes from a good number of their catalogue. I’ve not seen this before either.
Summarizing – I am bringing this one in as Five point zero. It is as good as anything you’ll ever find. Kudos to the model and the producer But this time, it is the director has hit one out of the park. By any stretch of the imagination, this DVD is a home run; this is one DVD that you should not miss.

I’m not going to quibble about a perfect 5.0 (let’s say I’m skeptical), but just so you know, Karin (like fellow b-list idol Aoki Rin) made the transition to AV idol this September – expect Kawase Yuna to follow suit.

This looks maginificent. Karin is a stunning model and pulls off both sexy and cute unlike any other I’ve seen. Looks like another one to the buy list. And yes, I’m awaiting Yuna Kawase’s transition to AV sometime soon.

Thanks for your comments and continued readership PsychoGemini. I had seen a few other DVDs from the “All-Nude” series. I thought they were well made, and really a cut above many of the bikini model DVDs that I had seen. The excellence of this video will make me look into seeing a few more. Hopefully we will find another worthy of getting reviewed.
Thanks to Zatoichi. He’s made a number of very inciteful comments about many of my reviews. We rarely agree – if I love a DVD he isn’t thrilled with it. And I have often ranked a few of his faves as weak efforts. But having differetn opinions doesn’t mean there’s no respect.
