In a most unusual change of direction, Line Commumications, the corporate parent of the wonderful I-One Series, has decreed that this DVD begin with the making of segment. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen that before. Oh yeah, before I forget, let me introduce the star – Megumi Kagurazaka – and the title of this video is Mirage.

There’s nothing too whispy, too emphemeral, or so translucent to make either the model or the production seem of no more substance than gossamer. Yet all of the gravure model genre is as light and airy as cotton candy.

Megumi-chan is certainly a delectable sweet. She got beauty, charm, she laughs easily, and she doesn’t say no when the producer or art director ask her to wear some provacative costume that looks as if it would blow away with the slightest puff of air. Maybe she doesn’t soar on gossamer wings, but she certainly makes my heart take flight.

Ok – enough of the poetic waxing philosophically. Let’s talk about the video. After the making of segment, in which Megumi chatters about this and that while the camera motor drives do their thing, we do get the benefit from the launch of a very effective montage. Don’t ask – you should know what montage means by now.

c.jpg

Scene 1 is a walk on the beach. Literally and actually. Megumi walks toward us on an empty stretch of a beach. She’s the only person in sight. She uses her hands to whisk her hair away from her face as the camera circles around her before she walks off. Nothing to write about here, in fact, this is a weak opening scene, post-montage of course.

d.jpg

Scene two is also a throw-away. Megumi as your basic gorgeous housekeeper. She clears the table, dusts, vacuums, and looks wonderful all at the same time. Howver you won’t remember much about this scene.

e.jpg

Next the darling Megumi is wrapped (literally) in some green gauzy material. It’s a most unusual costume. With the well designed direction, you won’t be able to take your eyes off the model. As she saunters along, her hips swing, her chest heaves, and before you know it, you are breathing heavily.

f.jpg

Then without any change in music, we join Megumi in an infinity pool. She covers her breasts up, [darn it], but the discerning viewer will take note of the green gauzy material still wrapped around her hips as she sits in the water. It is an endearing scene as Megumi is granted more than a few pensive and introspective moments which allow us to view her, as in drinking in her beauty. Wow.

g.jpg

Megumi soon is trotting around on an expanse of green grass dotted with palms. She’s playful, her costume is brief, and there’s a continual jiggle as she is jogging. This doesn’t last too long, as Megumi wants to show off some beautiful lace and satin bedroomwear. Very stylish indeed.

h.jpg

Megumi next goes on board a small boat that’s anchored just off-shore. She’s decked out in a blood-red bikini. The sun isn’t overly bright and the scene has a nice tone in terms of the lighting.

i.jpg

The next scene is a puzzle. Megumi wears a very brief costume, which isnt at all flattering, Instead it is flattening. It seems to bind her boobs and compress them. On the other hand there’s plenty of tail to see. Towards the end of the scene, Megumi is backed into a corner. Looks overly confining to me.

Back to the beach! Yeaaaa! Megumi’s got that pink bikini. She teases a bit, and finally the top is loosed then is off completely, and I mean the top isn’t even the picture. Of course Megumi is lying belly down on the beach and we can only imagine her sitting up.

k.jpg

Megumi is next seen on the green expanse again. This time she’s wearing a bold yellow tee-shirt. What does the lettering say? Well it says MUSTANG. And what do we hear while this scene plays out – you guessed it – belly dance music! We’ve somehow traveled from a sultry seaside directly to the souk.

smaller12.jpg

Speaking of the seaside – what do we find there. Sea—–shells. As in Megumi’s next costume. She’s very game, as she has to put up with a lot based on these wacky costumes. Can you say this five times fast: – She sells sea shells by the sea shore?

new14.jpg

Fortunately, before you can finish saying that tongue-twister, o lose interest – Megumi is back in the bedroom. Her yellow Mustang tee-shirt is taut as it is stretch to cover her bust. Sweet Megumi takes the opportunity to tease us, and don’t we love her for doing so.

m.jpg

Megumi loves the color yellow. Look at what she wears as we join her for a shower. I love her in this scene. Look at those eyes…

n.jpg

About now, after the shower, it’s time to bring down the curtain, Megumi is wearing a white something which is gathered just below her breasts. The call this empire style, only its pronounced, Ahhhhm-pear. I prefer to say it this way, “Ravishing”.

0.jpg

This isn’t one of Megumi’s better efforts, But we can’t lay the blame on the model. The Art director or stylist ought to go back to fashion school. But even having said that, I’m still going to score this one at three point five. Guess I’m just a Megumi-man…
